Loosing everything while Swimming

Ive never lost a thing and have swam between the islands many times. Mainly cause there are many good tents to loot on them. Maybe it is server dependent as someone stated on another thread? -
I use six launcher and am on 1.7.2.5 The trick is to upload the manual files and copy them to the addons section C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\SteamApps\common\arma 2 operation arrowhead\@DayZ\addons - On my pc Then run six launcher but DO NOT click on verify or launch on the left side Just double click on a server and the game will launch then hit esc which will take you to the multiplayer menu Look at the bottom right and it should all be good 1.7.2.5 Just remember not to click verify or launch in six launcher as this will overwrite back to 1.7.2.4 Hope this helps

I was teleported into a mass bear trap like this and then forced to dance. Other than dying it was funny watching everyone else around me dancing too and then getting legs broken on the bear traps. I've decided living for more than a day is a huge achievement nowadays in DayZ

Nightvision can be found at heli crash sites, ive found them before at them, not sure about rangefinder as i havent found that yet.

Do you have any gear worth saving? Have you tried other servers to see if you are still in a wall? Satchel charge should kill you to be able to respawn.

Not anymore i dont think. I have swam back and forth from a couple of islands since 95417 and 1.7.2.4 and never loose my kit. I think you will be safe to cross by water now, this bug was fixed a while back. -
my six launcher is still at v 1.7.2.4

I use six launcher for the ease of it however it writes your files back to 1.7.2.4 if you verify with it. What i did is go to dayzmod.com and download the 1.7.2.5 update and copy it over manually. Then i run six launcher but NEVER click on verify or the launch button (this will take you back to 1.7.2.4), i double click on a server and then hit esc to bring up the actual server list. If you cant do the manual update or not sure how let me know and ill make it clearer
