Why do people just shoot? and how do you survive?

Shoot them before they shoot you! You can just avoid large towns and scavenge the villages inland where there are less players. But if you want to loot big towns or military targets then I recommend you going onto low population servers. :) -
Hackers tend to be on the higher population servers due to the fact that they can do more damage on a 35/40 server than they can on an 8/30. Thankfully as Rocket updates the game more and more, the less hackers we will see! :D

Agreed. I feel the current system is not helping to get more admins and servers online. I think that they should loosen their grip on servers and give more power to the people who run the servers. -
PLEASE. bring the starting gun back for use new players.

No don't bring back a starting gun, it will just mean that people will start killing each other at the spawns again. Perhaps add a melee weapon but no pistol. New players need to learn, don't just hand them power, make them earn it. -

First of all, what you said was pretty vague. Second, you clearly did something you shouldn't have, battleye doesn't just ban you for something like that.

They should continue to develop for one map, two maps just means more effort will need to be put into fixing bugs and things of the island map.

I had the same problem until I reinstalled Combined operations. It seemed to fix it's self in the install. If that is not working then make sure you are running the latest Arma 2 patch.
