  1. Then why did Rocket say it was made for 2x50 slots? :/ If it's only at 30%, I guess this thread can be closed. Guess I was misinformed. Makes me wonder why it's having so much trouble then. Can you maybe elaborate on that?
  2. You need to copy the files in the AddOns folder in ARMA2 to the Common folder in OA, overwrite when asked.
  3. I think 50 is a good number.
  4. Too be honest, I think there shouldn't be more servers until the central database is upgraded / changed. It's a mess already, the central DB was made to test 2x50 slots, and currently there are like 1400 slots. I'd love to see more players and more slots, but not until the central DB is fixed.
  5. Maybe this isn't the best idea. Rocket said that the central database was made to test 2x50 slot servers and there are like 40 already, it can barely handle what is out there. I enjoy the DE servers, but maybe adding 300 players to the already borked central DB isn't the smartest move. Just my two cents ;)
  6. You don't need batteries for the flashlights. Just press 'L' when you have it equipped and are holding it. Also, I agree that the slots it uses is too much, should be 2-3 max
  7. Make sure to check if the Steam version of Operation Arrowhead installed BattlEye properly. Mine didn't which was causing the problem. What you have to do is copy the folder from ARMAII to your OA and place it there. Nice guide, will probably help some people.
  8. Apparently the Steam version of Operation Arrowhead doesn't install BattlEye properly. What you have to do is copy the folder from ARMAII to your OA and place it there. That's what caused my problems, might fix it for you too :)
  9. I like your servers, I only play on DE1 / DE2 because it's the most stable and has the most slots :3
  10. I can't join anything anymore :/ It's all waiting for host / waiting for server response...
  11. To be honest, I don't think they have to set up a testing server because it's still in alpha. That being said, there's like an update everyday so if it doesn't really work today it's probably gonna get fixed tomorrow.
  12. Don't do that shit. And why might I ask? Aren't I allowed to have free speech or are you a tight ass politic? I am allowed to put that after ever single one of my comments because there is nothing wrong with it' date=' if you have a problem with it please lodge a complaint to the Government because they are the only people who can help you with your problem. ~Derranged [/quote'] It makes you look stupid and pretentious. We know who's posting you don't need to put shit at the end. Come on guys, let's keep it civilized shall we? He can put his name there if he wants, he's not hurting anyone. Lets keep on topic :)
  13. Ok guys I've fixed the issue. Apparently the Steam version of Operation Arrowhead doesn't install BattlEye properly. What you have to do is copy the folder from ARMAII to your OA and place it there. This resolved the issue and I've been playing for a bit now :)
  14. I have all three because I used the Six Updater, still doesn't work :(
  15. I still can't play... :( Keeps giving me the 'Waiting for character to create' :/
  16. Well that's what's happening, no errors (at least, for me) I'm using steam, bought it today (for this mod :P) I did run ARMAII and Operation Arrowhead before installing the mod. I'm running it that way yes and I have the launch options too. But even without that it doesn't work. Any ideas?
  17. It can take anywhere between a matter of seconds' date=' or many minutes. I've known of people to be sat on the same screen for 10 minutes for the first log-in. Just have some patience, start it up and go make a brew or something. When you say "the text in the background", could you elaborate? Or even post a screen shot? From memory, you Join a server which will take you to the squad / player selection. Loading from there will load the mission file (Receiving mission data) and then the screen should black out and will go through a period of "waiting for the host", "getting player ID", "receiving character data from server" and "creating character". Pretty sure that's the standard load-in. Here's an Imgur album of screenshots, I've added descriptions so you can see what I'm doing. http://imgur.com/a/XgTgS#0
  18. I'am trying at the moment but it just puts me back in the server browser with the text in the background. Is that supposed to happen? It's my first time trying to play it so I have no idea if I should leave it like this or not. Also when I go to the server that I tried to join and click it once, I'm not in the list of players. :/
  19. Can't really expect a good latency with a satellite connection. Don't think there's much you can do about it.
