Yeah, I was lucky enough to get my money back, no problem. Not even a single question of why it was in that plastic wrapping either. I've never had a problem with Fry's before, and if there was ever a problem with something, I could return it with no problems, like now.

So yeah, bought some RAM from frys to have 16 gigs of ram. Went to Fry's, showed them the exact model I wanted, the nice guy behind the counter said "We might have one in the back, let me give them a ring". He called them, they have just one, but it's Open Box. Not good. Should've left and just ordered them from newegg right then. Regardless, I bought it after asking if I can return it. "Yeah, we have a 15 day return policy for Open Box items". Okay sure, i'll risk it. Went to the check-out stand to get my "Open Box" RAM. To my surprise, I was handed 2 sticks of ram in a red bag. Do note that I was not given a discount for a missing box or anything, and it wasn't the type of ram that I wanted, either. Went home, tried it out. Computer booted up fine and got into Windows with no problems. So far so good. Left the computer to idle for a bit while I went to get a Memtest disk. Came back, and the monitors were in standby mode, tried to get the computer to turn them on, no response. Had to hard-reset the computer. Got Memtest86+ in, left it in for 3 minutes, Full Reset with no warning or anything, took off the 2 "new" sticks of ram, computer did 7 passes of Memtest86+ with no problems. Fair enough, don't buy no-box shit. This was all my mistake for even thinking that something with no box would be worth buying. I wasn't even told that it had no box until I was at the checkout stand. Gonna try and return this crap to frys later today, at least I got a few pictures of it before I cut the plastic wrapping to prove that that's how I got it from frys. Just needed somewhere to post this and this place seemed good enough. I'll post back later on how the return goes if anyone's interested.

It's a lot more complicated than that. There's no way to identify someone on Punkbuster and VAC, since they use different systems of identification. Same with Battle Eye.

It happens. I lost all my cool shit to a hacker that just insta-killed the entire server. Just move on and don't get too attached to your stuff.

Hi, name's Evinyl. Got DayZ a while ago, just started playing again. Fairly decent at surviving and scavenging. Have quite a few zombie and bandit kills under my belt (Don't shoot at me if you can't aim.) Pretty fun game so far, always looking for new people to play with.
