I play as "friendly" most of the time and 9/10 times I get killed by a Ghille sniper in hiding in the hills or other camping spots. That's the game. DayZ will never be what you want it to be, it's just is what it is. For the same reason people say "go play COD" is the same reason you should probably play something else too.

I would like to form a small squad of players (1-6) that will will engage in relatively "friendly" behavior, hunt down bandits, aid our friends, setup a base, collect valuable loot, and maybe get a vehicle or two. Nothing too serious or strict. No special roles needed, just the willingness to help each other out in times of trouble. I have a TeamSpeak server available.

Accidently pressed "V" on top of a castle tower and a friend place a tent on top of me and it killed me.

Kill everyone. There's very little reason to team up because we are playing a game with no real goal and just surviving isn't very exciting in the mod's current state. It's not an MMO where you need a party to win, there is no winning, you just play and die... usually by people we refer to as "Bandits" but really they are just killing you for fun and because they already have everything they need.

Yeah, same here but I'm not surprised. I checked on my tent the next day and thought everything was fine. I played again a day later, no tent. There is no reason to do anything without a base building aspect in the game. Once you have a decent gun and backpack all there is left is to kill other players for no reason at all because even in order to take their stuff I need a place to put it all.

The server will be full during prime hours even if your clan mates leave. It's not like you are paying them to play on their server I don't know why you expect customer satisfaction. For example, right now the server is down, I'm not complaining about it. Maybe if you weren't such an asshole about it they would have helped you more but assholes can't help but be assholes and they don't want assholes on their server. Asshole.

I have no idea how I got the Hero Skin. A month ago I killed 2 people with an axe (because they shot me) and haven't killed ever since. I also haven't been healing other players that much, just one day I logged in and had the skin. Do you get humanity from killing zombies or something?

Hackers make this "game" much more fun. Good luck finding a car that works or that extremely rare gun you have always wanted. All I do now is note where the hacker tents are and loot them constantly. I'm geared in 30 mins with the best equipment, I only take what is legit so I can hop on a different server with my friends. WIN.

With all these bugs, it's like they released this game before it was finished. I'm glad I didn't spend a dime on it!

Well if you really want to make it realistic, after 25% blood loss you are dead. So everyone dies at 9000. BUT THIS IS A GAME. With all the ways to get blood back in the game I don't know why you would need heath regeneration. Also defeats the purpose of scavenging for food and hunting animals or looting hospitals for blood packs. Morphine instantly heals broken bones. No one is complaining about that. Or are they?

I swear the arma inventory system is the worst in gaming.

Part of making the game is selling it and getting the name out there. Also, there's this wonderful thing called the internet that allows you to work away from your home or office. It's awesome. Maybe you heard of it?

If you are not at all interested in ARMA, don't get it. Dayz is still alpha. It would be like paying to play a demo. HOWEVER, if you could convince a friend of yours to play along then you'll have a lot more fun and it might be worth all the trouble. You will die from hackers in this game. There's hackers in all PC games. Get used to it.

No one is being punished for anything. It's a game and if you let it be anything else then you need to re-evaluate your life. Yes, it's easier being a bandit especially with a ghilli suit and a sniper rifle. You never have to get close to someone, never have to share anything, never have to put yourself in danger. Some people like playing that way. This notion that Bandits are ruining the game for others is laughable. They are apart of the PVP game. This is a PVP game even if you're not into it. There's plenty of 0 pop servers out there if you want to avoid PVP or get your own private server. Simple as that. Bandits are needed in this game. Zombies are only a nuisance and let's be honest... they only kill us if we are really, really stupid or one of them gets a lucky knock out punch. The skins are fine.

Face it, you are a cold blooded murderer now. The first one is the toughest. It will get easier.
