We spawn with nothing to fight back...I think when your unarmed, you can do kicks and punches. These attacks shouldn't be TOO powerful, nor too weak. This is because it is mostly hard to find a weapon at the start. GIMMIE BEANS FOR THIS!

It shouldn't be too lethal, but nor too weak, All I think is that it should stun the zombies giving you a chance to run and hide possibly, maybe the stun can last for 10 seconds?

STARTER TIP #1: This game is HIGHLY realistic. Not recommended for poor computers. It is also an online game. STARTER TIP #2: Adjust the video settings to your liking. Turning the video settings below high will be rendered by the CPU. So if you have a good GPU/CPU, its better to have the settings on higher settings. Even if your CPU/GPU isnt too great, its better at Graphic Rendering then a CPU anyday. Setting stuff high is a way to get GREAT preformance boosts. Thank you Gatortribe! STARTER TIP #3: After you join a server, you will be asked to choose Male or Female. Male has more "skins" then Female, as Female has one "skin". STARTER TIP #4: When everything is done being setup, you will spawn with the following: a Flashlight, (only used when it's on the secondary slot, works only during the night) A bandage, (used to fix bleeding after being hit mostly once) and Painkillers (used when the first person screen is shaking) STARTER TIP #5: Try to avoid the zombies until you get a gun. Also try to avoid being shot, falling from a great distance, until you find a hospital, as since to treat Broken Bones, you need Morphine. (Hospitals can be noticed by a 2 floor building with on the glass a symbol) STARTER TIP #6: Hunger and thirst, an important role, When these are flashing red, just about every second you will take 20 damage. In order to prevent that you need canned goods (Canned Beans, Frank and Beans, Sardines) and soda or water (Soda is much better, as since getting water bottles can be hard.) STARTER TIP #6: Blood is also an important role, as here how it goes: You start out with 12000 blood, which can be drained by: Being shot Being attacked by zombies Falling a great distance Bleeding Blood can be restored in 4 ways: Blood bags (the most efficent, restores all the way to max 12000 blood) Cooked Meat (Restores 800 blood and all your hunger) Canned Goods (like Canned Beans, they restore 200 blood.) Or if you disconnect before the game saves, you can be lucky, have all your equipment and more blood then you had before. Hard to do. STARTER TIP #7: Status effects. If you see like 2 plugs un-plugged (and is white) that is Shock. Shock doesnt do anything unless you disconnect and come back, which will give you the longest wait to wake backup. How to lose Shock: Just wait up to 5 minutes, or 30 seconds. Bleeding. You can notice that your bleeding when the blood symbol has a flashing white cross on it. How to recover: Bandage This will continue to lose blood until you bandage it. Broken bone: Can be seen when you see a bone split in half. When you have a broken bone, you can only crawl. Trying to move crouching or standing up will go back to the Prone position. How to fix it: Morphine. Only found it hospitals. STARTER TIP #8: Now onto the stuff on the lower right corner. There are 4 things on there: The knife and fork is Hunger The drip is Blood, if you didnt have the Debug Monitor. The jug is Thirst. The thermometer, is Tempeture. Hunger is so you dont die of hunger. You lose 20 blood per second if this is flashing red. Blood--explained on Starter Tip #6 Thirst: Drains faster then hunger. You lose 20 blood per second if this is flashing red. Tempeture: If you catch a cold, you will lose blood. Can be restored by being inside, moving, and being near a campfire. STARTER TIP #9: Very useful stuff (Food, water/soda, weapons and ammo) can be really rare. You are more likely to find junk items (Empty Tin Can, Empty Soda Can, Empty Whiskey Bottle) then food water/soda weapons and ammo. STARTER TIP #10: Get used to killing other survivors, as since you cant trust them. If they have a gun, more likely there gonna blast you in the face. Don't worry, you wont get something that will tell your a "Bandit" (which kill other survivors.) You can tell someone is a bandit/a bandit is nearby when you hear a heartbeat. If it sounds like he is having a heartattack, KILL HIM. ...Or run. STARTER TIP #11: Backpacks are buggy and useful. You start with a patrol pack (coyote) which will hold 8 items. You can find better backpacks, like an ALICE pack. The patrol pack is also 1 step above the Czech Vest Pouch. STARTER TIP #12: DayZ is in Alpha stage, so it is very buggy. And expect many bugs also. Okay, this is a little piece of gaming experience. SURVIVAL ATTEMPT BEGIN. Walked straight until I saw a road. Headed left, ran like forever, found a small town, was attacked. Found some useless junk. Also did find a Hunting Knife and a Hachet. Equipped Hachet as a weapon. Found another small town, cleared out some zombies. Found a human, didn't attack. Also found some beans and soda, luckily. I almost was gonna die of thirst/hunger. And I also found a map. That's when I decided to head to Elektor. Walked a long time. Finally reached it. I decided to put another marker heading to a building in Elektor. But I found an office building. Found a Makerov, 4 bandages and 4 clips for it. Once I was done scavenging the first floor, I went to the next floor. Another survivor, had a Winchester 1866. Unfortunaly, he killed me. He was now a bandit. END OF SURVIVAL ATTEMPT Man...I REALLY SUCK AT THIS GAME. I really do. >:(

I've met with only 3 players. The first one was friendly, had a gun. The next one was like a new spawned charcter. The last one MURDERED ME

Finding a weapon isn't too hard. But hachets are useful and all, but really. I get sick of finding makarov ammo but NO. FRIGGIN. MAKAROV! Odoyle, thats a good tactic...but sometimes it doesnt work for me. And besides, if I did come back, more likely not many places to look at.

If i get the beans, maybe the idea will COME TO LIFE! Meh. Nobody cares :P

Yeah that would be funny. But would make that sniper wanna kill you. Its like: Sniper: Hmm look a survivor looking in MY fire department!
