Looking for large private hive with whitelisting.

Does anyone have a private hive server running a whitelist with a fair amount of players? This game is currently unplayable at it's current state/ -
There needs to be something like spawn protection when joining a server. I have been killed twice already the second I get into a server without even seeing any scenary. Perhaps invulnerability until you move or shoot.

I hav been having some trouble when it comes to using the binoculars and scopes. I know this may be a arma 2 issue. What I wanted to know of there was a way to get better performance with the zooming. I can run the game very well with no lag l, however the scopes screw me over. I average 60~80 fps on all high settings.
