    Why the radio silence?!?

Old hat. There's a server-side fix with replacing the files. Not official, but it's there.

There's many possible reasons for this. I'll list some of the ones that I can think of immediately, this is in no way an inclusive list, and is based on observances only. If you bolted for the building (sprinting, via double-tapping 'W') sometimes, if you're coming from far enough away, the loot doesn't spawn because it hasn't had enough time. Similarly to the above, if you are in a vehicle, you will have to park outside, get out of the car, and wait around a couple minutes before loot begins to spawn. If you log into a server inside of a building (or server hopping), a lot of times there won't be loot there if there was no loaded loot prior to your logging in (meaning there's nobody around!). Run outside, wait 5-10 mins and return. It's possible (Although I severely doubt it as often as you're saying) that they have been completely emptied by another person attempting to force loot respawn. This is because loot will only respawn in a specific location if the entire pile is emptied (includes tin cans!). The data transfer could be lagging behind rather severely. I was playing on a private hive yesterday, and it took 10 minutes for zombies to spawn around my group at the NWAF. Another 15 for loot! Sometimes loot spawns "underground" and is not visible on the screen, even though it IS there. Common places this happens are Apartments and those military buildings where the Carport spawns loot. So be sure to check carefully! No building in the game has a 100% loot drop chance as far as I know, so, technically, you could just be an extremely unlucky son of a bitch. Glitch. This is an alpha test after all. All of these reasons, and possibly more I haven't thought of could explain the lack of loot in the grocery stores. If you're server hopping, that would explain the lack of items. You should stop that, anyway, if you are indeed doing it. Takes the same amount of time to just remove the loot, pile it up and wait for respawn.

    High Value Trade

I have the soldier clothing (Not camo clothing, the british soldier clothing), actually. Found it in a tent earlier today. Do you happen to have a GPS up for grabs?
  4. Only encountered 2 people on night servers that were close enough to be considered a threat. One was a hacking, combat-logging douche, and the other was a poor soul who had the bad luck of being 5 feet in front of me when a flash of lightning lit up cherno in the middle of a storm on a pitch black server. The hacker got killed after killing my crew, and the poor lightning guy was destroyed when I simply pounded my left mouse button until I ran out of ammo in my mp5 clip.... IN PURE SHOCK.

The annoyance of those who die on their feet

Had a bandit stop to chat with me back in 1.7.2.4 before they re-added the partial skin. He helped my buddy and I out of a sticky zombie situation calling friendly the whole time, and when we were giving him some med supplies as thanks he gunned my buddy down. So I waited and annihilated him for his betrayal. Blood for blood.

    Operation: Fix This F!#king Car!

Pro-tips: Save the vehicle ONCE, don't spam the save. Typically, I tend to save the vehicle every time I get out in a new town or gas up, or if I happen to find something really nice (Like the M16 ACOG and Coyote Backpack I found at the NWAF) I'll save after loading it in. Furthermore, flipped vehicles are returned to their natural alignment upon a server restart, so if you happen to flip your poor car, save it, pull any essentials out of it you can, and log out nearby.

    Hey Guys.

Lol, no worries. My buddy's mom has some serious speech impediments and spelling/grammar issues, but her excuse is that she's survived 3 strokes and a brain aneurysm. She's a pretty awesome gamer, though.

Bandits deserve no warning. They chose their path!

    Interested in teaming up? O:

The guilty shall be executed! Torches and pitchforks, folks! Oh, and I SUPPOSE I'll allow hatchets. EDIT: spelling... hush. :(
  10. Beans for making me laugh. Thank you. I needed that.

The annoyance of those who die on their feet

Been spooked by standing dead before, yeah. Zombies, though, not players. Headshot a zombie with my M4A3 CCO and it just stood there, so I fired off an entire clip into it before I realized it was lootable and not invincible.

    Cursed items??

Not cursed items, just bad juju. The real cursed item is Mountain Dew. And I have two of them, :D

    Hey Guys.

How old are you? Based on the lack of correct spelling in your post I can wager a guess, but...seriously, how old are you?

    Loot Spawn Times ?

If nobody touches the items, it will not reset. In order to get fresh loot, an item spawn location needs to be completely looted (This means all the tin cans need to go too!). Repeat for as many spawn points as you can/will. After that, leave the building for about 5-10 minutes (I haven't actually timed it, but I believe it's probably closer to 10 minutes), and return. If you find that there isn't new loot, leave for another 5 minutes and return. Rinse and repeat until you get the respawn. Although this is frowned upon by many players, I contantly find nothing but tin cans and bandages in the barracks, so I use this method to get something I can't get in a random log cabin.
  15. Unless you plan to be on a private hive, extremely poor odds.

US #500 Question - Really No PvP?

It's a "Hey guys, don't PVP please, although if you choose to, there's nothing we can do" thing UNLESS this server is private hive.

    Player joining Private LAN Server

Password it, then... Also shouldn't this go in the new private hive section?

One server ruins hours of gameplay :/

The other course of action to avoid the outrageous hacking problem is Private Hive servers. I've been enjoying some private hives recently, and found my first hacker on one last night. He had a soldier uniform (you know, hard helmet, etc) and started RPing with us, holding us up in the name of the british military (even though he was definitely american), telling us to drop our weapons, checked us for contraband, and then got kicked and banned by admin. I have been beating myself up since it happened for not recording it! He was a funny character, but he didn't kill us or anything, even though he was clearly a hacker. I've also had one hacker shoot my buddy on the leg, told him that if he didn't kill him he'd give him all sorts of stuff... my buddy played along, got an as50, nvgs, rangefinders, gps, etc. for free, and then the hacker morphined and blood bagged him and trotted off - then my buddy shot him. Anyway, what I'm getting at is while not ALL hackers are the obnoxious script kiddies who are going to teleport you to the thunderdome, or into the ocean, or debug fields, or nuke elektro... the fact is, the main hive is just crawling with them. Private Hives offer better support against hackers usually (as the admins there aren't bound by dev's rules). Your choice.

One server ruins hours of gameplay :/

You are yet another victim of a hacker. Best way to avoid the hackers is to play on low-pop servers, as they won't get their thrill on those servers, since there's not 40 people to kill. Not guaranteed (Ran into a hacker on a server with 8 players), but in 50+ hours of gameplay on lowpop servers, I've only run into one hacker, and he killed us with his gun - and combat logging like a bitch - not with scripts.

    Interested in teaming up? O:

Yeah, I believe the name atm is Ipurgepeople, if that doesn't work, try Vizelien. As for the AS50, my buddy had one of those, and I had an M24, we had some fun in cherno sniping zombies and then we got murdered by a hacker. Running a DMR now as I have my NVGs and love night servers, :P

    Why the radio silence?!?

THIS. I had to, HAD to post a response to this. You sir, get my beans, and my eternal respect. I absolutely HATE Bobby Kotick, and what he's turned Blizzard into. Take it from us, the consumers, Rocket. Don't EVER turn into worthless piece of shit like that guy.
  22. Ipurgepeople

    Interested in teaming up? O:

Would vent work instead of teamspeak? Not a bandit, although I'm currently perched in a nasty little bandit-able spot, contemplating whether I want to cross the line or not with my shiny sniper...

    Private hives with Sidechat

One I play on has it enabled, but it's been down this week, the owner's having technical difficulties. Until it comes back up, I won't bother saying the name.

    Question about GPS

Haven't heard that one yet, but I have had one scream "NOOOO!" before. Scared the crap out of me to boot.

    [Trade] Offering a Radio.

Radios are definitely illegitimately gained, most likely by hackers. Furthermore, what good is a radio if your squad doesn't all have them? Not only that, recently some servers have been banning people simply for the possession o banned items, so if you were to have one of these radios, you could possibly be banned from some servers (admittedly, this is not allowed, but there's no monitoring, so nobody gives a fuck) simply by having it in your possession. I wouldn't think it to be worth the risk.
