I was in the school in berezino yesterday with 2k blood, coughing up what was rest of my lung, and a broken leg. Managed to find two match boxes. If I can do it so can you. :D

The engine has it's positives and negatives. +the ballistics between bullet drop and bullet speed, etc. +the sheer scale of what the engine is capable of doing (Compare to something like warcraft 3 engine, or starcraft, this is a phenomenal specimen - yes i know different genres) +hunger, thirst, etc. are nice touches. -Worst. Inventory. Ever. Clunky piece of garbage. -the openness of the engine in regards to ease of scripting. -the inventory SUCKS. Did I mention that? So when it comes down to it, it's similar to other engines (even of different genres) in that it does have its positives and negatives. But the inventory system is terrible. So bad that my vote goes to "bad engine" because of it.

If I come across another box tomorrow, and you still haven't found any, we can arrange a trade. Don't really need anything unless you find a tent you'd be willing to trade for some matches. I'm on the list.

There's a hack that was released a couple days back that is undetected by battle eye atm, which allows people to take all vehicles, etc. take them to one spot and do what they will. Which isn't a big deal on 1.7.2.5 since they'll revert back upon a restart, but in 1.7.2.6 the saving is fixed, so if this hack occurs, and someone teleports all vehicles to, say, skalisty, destroys them all, then your whole server is without vehicles for a week. Yes, I tried with fresh install. As far as Rosetta is concerned, I just put it on my laptop, which is a better place for it anyway, since I can then use it while flying. I had bought a 2TB HDD with the intentions of replacing this one, but I bought the wrong one and it likes to turn itself off to conserve energy, which is great for a storage drive, which is what I use it for atm. I just don't want to go through the hassle of reinstalling steam to my 2tb, and I don't have the money to buy a new HDD. I have no income, and have about $2000 worth of more important things to spend my money on than my computational annoyance. Anyway, this is off topic.

I've seen a few DMCA notices in the past few years, and each of them have presented an email address. This sounds fake to me, especially the broken english. I've seen a DMCA notice on behalf of japanese companies which was presented in perfect english. So it's not that only american companies know how to type out english legal jargon. In my opinion, this is a load of bullshit, but with things such as DMCA notices, you really have to tread carefully. Really the only true way you can effectively find out is to hire a lawyer to look into it.

I've had two separate professionals try to get a couple different programs to run (Skype and Rosetta Stone refused to work. Skype now works after their latest update, dunno why) as well as a couple friends who know more about this sort of thing than I do. Nothing I can do, even using the cmd promt to manually run the programs hasn't worked. I, and the professionals, have just chalked it up to the fact that my hard drive just celebrated it's 10th birthday. In these 10 years it's had countless crashes, and to be perfectly honest, I'm amazed it still works at all. DayZ is just the latest addition to the list of programs that won't run on this computer. At least arma only set me back $30 unlike Rosetta Stone which cost me about $700. Not only that, but I can still play dayz as long as I use the launchers. I don't know what they do with the launchers that is different, but whatever it is, it works, so I don't complain. Because regardless of what you actually have installed, Six will only launch the version that it has running. Not sure how/why that is, but that's just how it goes. EDIT: Oops, major spelling error

I was like you. But then I didn't want to wait a week for 1.7.2.5 to come out, so I bit the bullet, dropped Six and got DayZ Commander. I hate changing things like programs to make things work. I delayed switching to chrome from firefox for 5 months, once I did, I now shun firefox like internet explorer. Similar thing with this. Six worked for what I needed, so why change it? But it's so slow on updates, so it's worthless. EDIT: I cannot run the game manually, it simply will not run. I need the launchers to make it run on my 10 year old hard drive. I've tried every trick, etc. SO don't consider the launchers a "waste of time" when some of us need them :)

Did you try double tapping the command? I have no idea what the command is for this, but double tapping seems to be the way of toggling things.

Well, the way I look at it is, I generally will find 2 STANAG SD mags for each M9 SD mag I find. So when you think of it that way... But again it's up to you and your personal preference. I wouldn't take it mainly because I do just fine with the m4a1 against zombies, since I'm no bandit.

There's a few of them on the map. You can find them at the NW Airfield, Green Mountain, Stary Sobor, Cherno, and I believe Balota has one as well.

Depends. Personally, I love my M4 SD, I won't drop it. If anything I'll drop my DMR in my bag for a makarov before I drop my M4A1 CCO SD. Found a Holo yesterday that was silenced (Obviously hacked in) and stole it, dumped it under a tree, went back and picked up my m4a1 cco sd again. My favorite gun.

09 09 is still within the playable map area. It's just not within the bounds of the online map as there's no loot on the edges of the map there.

So the backstory is, I hop on a private server with a few buddies. I spawn at Solnichniy, and there's a fishing boat just chilling out in the water next to me. So I go over to check it out, see if it has gas, etc. So I get to it, and it has extremely low gas. about ten seconds later I start hearing the shots. The bullets are whizzing by me! Panicking, I get the hell out of the boat, swim to shore, and just haul my freshly spawned ass into town. I didn't even bother zig-zagging, considering my buddies spawned in Kamenka and I was sort of hoping he'd hit me. He didn't. 10+ shots fired at me, not a single hit. I couldn't freaking believe it. I loot Solnichniy, find a dude with a hatchet, tell him to get the hell out of there cause there's a sniper up the hill. I run to the boat, snag it while he continues trying to shoot me, and scream over the mic: "I wasn't going to steal it, but you're such a bad shot you DESERVE to have it stolen!" and paddle off into the sunset. It runs out of gas at Krutoy Cap, so I hop out with my jerry can and head to Kamyshovo to get some gas. On my way back from there is where this video takes place. Enjoy.

Lol, I was NOT planning on taking the boat, but he was SUCH A TERRIBLE SHOT I just had to do it. I'm no bandit, I'm friendly most of the time (That's actually how I met the guys I play on that server with - being friendly), but this was just too much.
