  1. I added a _nohq anyway, in Buldozer it doesn't seem to change anything. I've asked R4Z0R for a link to the most recent development branch (1.7.7), because I can't find the SQFs for it anywhere on the GitHub. I'm not going to mess with the config files and all that until I'm working with the correct version, otherwise it'll just be a waste of time! Oh, and I managed to get rid of that jagged lighting, just make sure 'show shadows' or something to that effect is checked. ^_^
  2. Done, added a normal map to the cans. Will look at putting together a pbo/whatever I need to put on the Github.
  3. He has expressed interest in a large Western-style city map after finishing with Chernarus.
  4. I think they've said that they are going to focus on hunting rifles in the SA, to replace military-grade NATO weapons which just wouldn't be in Chernarus.
  5. Someone help me! The RVMAT I found with Joey's cans contain no reference to a nohq - I have created a normal map for it anyway on request. How would I modify the RVMAT to recognise this? Anyone? :rolleyes:

  9. Yeah, bear in mind I have no idea what I'm doing when it comes to a lot of this. :blush: Thanks for the comments however, I'll see what I can do when I have a moment (which I currently don't). Saying that, I'm gonna look at the ingame pasta/frank+beans/beans etc and see what they're doing!

  11. Just my thought, wouldn't a flintlock pistol be rarer than most military-grade weapons nowadays?

  13. Thanks, I've unfortunately been away recently and haven't really had access to GIMP or stuff like that, hopefully I'll be able to churn a few more out before the next hurdle in my life!
  14. Wait: you're saying that the ALPHA of a MOD isn't allowed to be broken? However, when it's a Standalone game where it has been massively altered and optimised to the degree that most of the GAME-BREAKING bugs from the Mod (which were mostly problems with ArmA 2, not the mod) then that's fine? Either way, expect bugs. More so in the Mod, even after nearly a year of work on it.

  16. I don't really mind to be honest I'm going to be really busy until at least August so if anything it's a good thing.
