    Now HERE is a useful entrenching tool!

    1 dead Chinese soldier spawns every restart anywhere on the map, including Schadenfreude island. Has Chinese Entrenching tool, some unique Chinese assault rifle and a note in Chinese, with some story about how he got there.

    Grouping up.

    My group will be solely using ingame comms (radios if they are implemented) for our play - much more immersive and tense, someone could be listening at all times. Planning to have a Skype ban when SA is released, with a predisclosed location to meet at a certain time. Going to be fun. :D

    OK, I don't really know what you're trying to do but I am browsing google.. Are you trying to load in a .p3d? Also, if you are having trouble with textures, BI forums suggests this: http://ofp.gamepark.cz/_hosted/brsseb/tutorials/start/start.htm About as much help as I can be. Sorry. I'll keep looking though.

    I am just a bit confused as to how these community_assets work. I have never heard of them nor seen any community-made objects in game. If they were to go into this community_assets place, would they be in the mod? Or would you still have to do a github pull and all that jazz? I don't understand really what you're up to. :/

    There will be, trust in Elvaron/Joey. I got my nutty deliciousness that is trail mix. I'm just saying that I'm surprised the devs haven't noticed this talent that could easily constitute a bunch of new content in an update.

    People heal in real life, blood regenerates. Sure, allow transfusions and such but players should still heal slowly. Also, how the fuck do you work out what blood type you are? I have absolutely no clue and if I was dropped into a zombie apocalypse I don't think it would be the first thing that sprung to mind.

    Discussion on future DayZ SA maps

    Rocket has said that the next map he'd like to work on after Chernarus is a Western City kind of map. Going from this, we can assume that it will likely be a generally smaller map than Chernarus, but perhaps with more vertical room (i.e. skyscrapers) and subway tunnels, and districts rather than villages. What do you guys think? Where should DayZ head next, and why? I personally like the western city. So much so that I'm considering drawing a road map as an example (thinking about sizing and such).

    I'm not saying it's a bad idea, I'm just wondering whether it would kind of fit the theme. Being able to pop up in Cherno and disappear just as quickly could become the route of griefers and it would take a long time to get something from the RV4 engine into 3.5 (although with codesharing who knows). Also, the water in ArmA 2 likely wasn't designed for this to be possible.

    Littlebird vs the UH1H

    The Mi-8 is the most produced helicopter ever, and it fits to the post-soviet Chernarus. Also, it's got no armaments. Problem solved.
