You're being incredibly rude. It's a simple question that you have failed to answer apart from saying that 'it makez the geam funner, hurr durr'. If you don't like your current FoV, you can change it. I'm not ashamed to say mine is at 90, it improves vision a lot. -

There aren't enough buttons on those controllers to effectively map all of ArmA's controls. Just stick to keyboard/mouse combo for now, it's not that hard. My only tip would be to trust NOONE, and join a private hive unless you want to only die because of invisible and silent hackers the whole time. -

True that, I still want to see the look on the noobs' faces as they run north following their compass but end up at Kabanino instead of Vybor or some such hilarity. Green Mountain could be a huge compass fucker-upperer, pulling careless survivors towards its ominous heights... -

We've had this argument many a time before. I'm completely against navigational aid. Hell, I would make the maps full of errors and not the whole of Chernarus (like a tourist map of Elektro or something). -

Personally, I'm in the 'not spawning with anything, even a backpack' camp. Oh, look, I've just been washed up on some random shore, good thing I've got my handy bandage, painkillers and torch in my pockets (like I always carry), and my empty backpack that I carry EVERYWHERE. Perhaps a bit much, but you get the idea. -

Well, if you could only do it with a gun surely it negates most of the problem? Hopefully more enterable buildings and redesigns of the towns will encourage players not to commit suicide so often. -
