Remember folks, it's a CAPACITY test. There is nothing to stream. We're testing the envelope for performance with players + zombies + loot and trying out different mechanics to get some metrics. There is zero gameplay and zero of anything nice to see, except the new terrain improvements, the new sky, and the new buildings. All of that you've already seen. But it's a good step. Just in from Rocket on Reddit. Maybe my excitement is somewhat misplaced. Actually, nope, I'm still excited regardless! I'm not sure what happened to the font. -

Gentlemen, all this may not matter for now. It could be mere weeks until release! -
This is literally just a place to bounce ideas off each other. The devs might come to read the forums every once in a while, so they might get a few ideas from here, but often most suggestions boil down to arguments between two different camps: the ones pushing for realism, and the ones pushing for so-called 'accessibility'. Enjoy your stay.

The 'shell' idea you speak of is exactly what Rocket has been aiming for this whole time: he wants a platform for PLAYERS to create their own stories, and to see the effects of the situation on human beings. Now, this experiment is never going to be perfect, because this is a game, you have the veil of anonymity, yada yada yada, but many of the reasons people just KOS and such ATM are inherent problems with the mod. Until SA is released, we will never know, but if survival and the zombies are given a huge buff then it will force players together.. or apart as the case may be. I'm sorry but having NPC's is a slippery slope towards bad things IMO. -

You're being incredibly rude. It's a simple question that you have failed to answer apart from saying that 'it makez the geam funner, hurr durr'. If you don't like your current FoV, you can change it. I'm not ashamed to say mine is at 90, it improves vision a lot.

There aren't enough buttons on those controllers to effectively map all of ArmA's controls. Just stick to keyboard/mouse combo for now, it's not that hard. My only tip would be to trust NOONE, and join a private hive unless you want to only die because of invisible and silent hackers the whole time.
