Might be a nice idea. I don't know about you but I really liked the new variety the cans brought and was sad to see them go. Thinking the community needs to do something to replace them. :)

That's some quality debating material right there. I'm REALLY angry that Spanish is in the game, I mean, it's breaking my immersion every time I think about it. We're in Russia for Christ's sake.

Fair enough, although I'm gonna try anyway. Was really enjoying the update's variety and want to contribute somehow. I'll make a thread elsewhere as this, as you say, is not exactly the issue we're discussing here.

Do you think that the community would be happier if I remade some of the UV Maps to make them more Russian-styled and less to do with actual people's names? I've asked Joey as the models were superb and have started to work on the first.

Well, the cans are gone. Hopefully we can get something similar into the next update, as I was personally really enjoying the new variety of items and just how it was mixing up the game a little. Perhaps someone would be kind enough as to make some new items with different names. Hell, maybe I'll start thinking of some logos on GIMP right now.

Great, now all that hard work to collect one of every can wasted!

Where is Trail Mix supposed to spawn? I've been server hopping to find it in a supermarket for about an hour and can't find one. :(

I'm assuming this is just Joey's models. I'm sure we could help to rename all the cans with different names/logos reasonably quickly and get the variety that I have been enjoying from 1.7.6 back into the game!

If you want to kill yourself, fine by me. You're the only one losing out. And if your leg's broken, you realise you can just use the respawn button?

Hopefully this can be reasonably quickly sorted out. I recommend we get these offending items out of the game in a hot fix ASAP and rework them for the next one. Funny, considering I was one of the people pushing to get these in at first.

I am fucking disgusted with this community right now. This is ridiculous, I mean, how ungrateful can you get? Joey spent hours working on these items as a TRIBUTE to you guys, and now his name is being tarnished across the DayZ messageboards, as if he is some kind of bad guy. Oh God, There's some kind of tantrum shitstorm going down all over the World as people all over the World are CRYING OVER LITTLE CANS OF FOOD AND DRINKS IN A VIDEO GAME. Grow up. Fair enough, it's not everyone's cup of tea, but especially on the subreddit I've noticed that they over there are all making completely erroneous assumptions, saying that the mod's forced Joey to make the models, that they are only doing it to enhance their epeens, that Elvaron has been left out and most likely feels rejected... To be honest, reading some of it made me laugh. I feel so sorry for the Mod's right now, and Joey. All their hard work has been completely trampled by this ungrateful community. I don't know if a rethink of this might be in order but it might come down to removing the offensive material and redoing them somewhat (although I don't think they should). This is all making me :(

If you want it so much, why not try and design something cool to put on it? I made the logo for the trail mix, you could ask Elvaron or Joey nicely and send them a texture/logo and maybe they'll do it for you! :D

There were a few food items of Joey's that didn't make it in, like the 'Lightfoot' Twinkies. Personally I think these would have been awesome! Also, some of the mod foods didn't make it in either, like the Sulahoops.
