OMG listen to self, people complain that this game is to easy. And you think that giving crowbar at start change game to more easy? If 99% people in 5 minutes can get anyway something better to use? If such thing dont change nothing, so who cares if someone have weak weapon at start? If this dont change anything, because you run to your loot spawn point and pick something better. And such rookie at least have time to get use to game. I repeat one more time, giving starting character any weak weapon after "reborn" DONT CHANGE NOTHING. Because you anyway get something better in few minutes, propably not even using it.

But DayZ is more grinding than any other game. You die, you start from new. The only game where was option to lose everything was Ultima Online. :P

Who cares? You can play on easy regular server and use character on veteran this change something in balance? On PvE servers players will die same many times like PvP servers. Only by trolling, where suicide runners will lure horde of zombies on other players just to loot player corpses or just for fun.

And why to sneak around? Most of players just google dayz map with spawn points, run to nearest outpoust tower. Three guarding zombies always are far away, you loot basic weapon. Run to air base, loot better stuff and you have all in half hour. So who cares if someone have start weak weapon if you can have something better in few minutes. Start weapon is only for rookies to get use to the game for experience players its meaningless.

More characters = more mule characters to safe your stuff offline. But ofc its not my money to buy few cd keys. :P -
And you think that crowbar is so heavy? And who say that player character must be some castaway? Maybe he just walk by the beach somewhere else?

Its not picnic. Dont tell me that in zombie apocalypse you move outside without any simple weapon like hammer or crowbar. I could just piss myself in pants having only bare hands.

DayZ is not about experience, its about google spawn loot map. Get your gun in 5 minutes and shooting everything first you see before someone see you. What fun in that?

Such system is just usuless with time bans. This game is hell to easy to die, one shoot from sniper rifle and you dead. Dont make this game to hard realism, game must be playable something relaxing after hard day. Not some second job, people have enought problems in real life. :P -

Bullshit, like vikings for example. They steal and pillage some people, but also trade on long distances from Byzantium and to Persia even. In game there is no profit in being good. Its safer and easy income, and people have safe in ass, because they reborn easy again and get they weapon in 5 minutes and again start shooting rookies. You all think that apocaliptic world is only groups of bandits riding? In groups are power, than smaller groups join in bigger one, and bigger and re-establish new civilization. -
I dont see that you are part of Dev team so why you answer for them? If they dont interest in this suggestion they dont use it.

Example from ass, you pay for what you want so you decide what you want. Its like buying a car, and dude say: "we have only green one, take it or get lost". I rather like to buy in color i want to even if i must wait for it.

You say that PvE will be pice of cake, and I say that only will be tool to other forms to jerk around and luring zombies on players. So it not will be safe zone like you think. And what diffrence between this, and camping rookies or other players with sniping rifle? None. But at least lured horde is more fun for group of survivors. :D

Who cares? More options, more way to choose, anyone can choose what like, so you pay for server you decide. Who dont pay = dont complain.

Even on PvE people can be killed, just shoot in middle of Elektro. Or lure huge group of zombies against survivors group. So dont say it will be pice of cake, will show up other forms of "jerking" around, like today is sniping anything that move even if its unarmed rookie.

There is any official info about game history and details of infection? Do this zombies are, returned dead like in classic version or infected angry people like in 28 days later? :P

And I dont belive that in zombie apocalypse people afraid each other and not common enemy. In group is power, and always people try to reach in grouping to survive hard times. For now game bandits is like, find good weapon spawn, relog on few servers to harvest stuff, go to shore and shoot rookies. So what with reality have this? :P Option should be, who own his server he set his options. Same like it is with veteran and regular. On regular gameplay is more carebear than on veteran, and nobody complain.

Should be such option, someone who pay for server could ad such function like today are set third person or kill msg. Or diffrences between veteran and regular. If you dont want such server dont play on such and move to normal full PvP with style you like.

Entrenching Tool look for me like this short small shovel in army. Only add such option to burry something. But should be some time limit so server dont get trashed with so many burred stuff. Or some limit of items can be hide such way - or tent will be usuless.

For me is no diffrence to start with or without weapon, so who care if someone have start gun or not? If you all remember where best weapon spawn and easy get what you want and change junk weapon to something better in few minutes. Let the rookies at least have chance to get use to game.
