You are taking it to far. I have a base that i share with 9 other bandits. When we were setting up somone said "leave all you're stuff here and get us some tents while we get supplies" so I dropped everything i had expect for my pistol and hatchet. My freinds picked it up. I came back with some tents set them up. Rinse and repeat. In the end we had four tents each for diffrent types of items. I set all of them up. If this is put in the game and i die its a f*ck you from the game and to my freinds. Because they lose you're stuff to. WTF IS THE POINT OF TENTS IF YOU LOSE THEM IF YOU DIE!? God here is what i notice from dayz. No. Dayz is fine where it is. ww2 has been done to death and not only that but ww2 dosent have enouth weps to be interesting. I think dayz is fine. Its more of "WHY DOES THIS DUDE HAVE A MILITARY GRADE WEAPON IN HIS HOME!?"

Pointless player killing is NOT a problum. Its part of the game. How to stop it? YOU CAN STOP IT! Form bandit hunting groups, go wait for bandits to snipe on hills. YOU the players can go hunt the bandits if you want. If idiots want to waste their ammo in eletor or cherno and not even loot their bodys GOOD. They will waste ammo and reveal their spot. Stop crying to the devs to fix the problum. Its not a game problum. Its a people problum. Its called when battlefeild and cod players go on dayz. They want to be mr ghost warrior picking people off from a distance and don't understand their just increasing the chances of them dieing. The shoot on sight problum isn't as bad you think. 60% of most players don't shoot on sight. You just don't know their there. There is a sniper watching you more often then you think. I see tons of snipers sitting the forest, they arent shooting people unless they get spotted or the players come towards them.

Why do you keep mentioning eve? WTF does eve have to do with this? Seriously eve and dayz do not have anything in common. ALOT OF PEOPLE play dayz. Eve players don't control 50% of the games population. Most people who play dayz played arma first.

So dayz is getting a standalone. Its most likely going to be awesome. But my question is currently dayz is filled with bugs and hackers making it somewhat unplayable. *You're character will die less from being killed from zombies and more from bugs/hackers* So my question is what do YOU think the dayz standalone should have in it. I think it should have. 1. All the current bugs be fixed. Some of the bugs are game breaking and SHOULD NOT be carried over. 2. It should keep the arma style and controls. 3. The zombies should be made more zombie like. Currently they run to fast, walk though walls, and their attack animation is spazzy. Zombies are allowed to run but not AS FAST or FASTER then humans. 80-90% would be a good speed for them. Also their AI needs fixing. Their to smart, can see though walls and detect you out of nowhere. 4. More guns. The most commonly found gun for low levels is the lee enfeild. Problem is that it sucks. It will argo all the zombies and while it does two shot missing with it is a death sentence since it has a slow fire rate. Some better low level guns would be nice. Like a Uzi. High fire rate but horrible accuracy. The double barreled shotgun is a bit to rare and not ammo efficient. 5. Better maps. The map is good but the problem is the map is in English and the sighs are in Russian. IF the map was in Russian then we could simply match the words. If they were in English then that would be even better. But that will only satisfy some people. Russians might not know English and most people who know English don't know Russian. Its a hard language to learn. So please add the ability to change the language for the map and for the sighs. Now I know on the internet people like to yell at each other but you can disagree without screaming. If you do not like a ideal say so in civil manner and better yet offer a way to improve it. *insert you're ideal bellow or comment about someone else s*

Oh boy once again dayz didn't like the way my character was prone near a wall/rail. First it broke my legs and then I randomly started to bleed again. Used a bandage. Crawling to the nearest hospital. I stop at a house along the way for some painkillers and i start to bleed again. Use my last bandage. I crawl up to a lighthouse to loot a body, find some loot. No bandages -_-. Okay crawl back to the ladder, wait why am I bleeding. Well I died 5 minutes later. I know Dayz is in alpha do not point out the obvious. But it uses the arma engine and controls. In arma I never took damage because I crawled near a wall. So do not blame the arma engine you have no clue how it works. Please fix this in the next patch, because when I complained about this before EVERYONE told me that the latest patch would fix it. It didn't. Please ACTUALLY fix this in the next patch or in the standalone. It really breaks the game. Enemy's and other players should kill you. The game itself shouldn't make a attempt.

...no. Getting matches, a fire axe/wood, a survival knife, then finding a cow or something you need to kill is hard. its not EASY. Canned food do not give you much either and there is never enough to get you much blood. So NO. Also why did you post double? Also blood types? Bro don't try to make the game to compacted.

Yeah. This thread is mostly good but SERIOUSLY. Zombies most to fast and act to eractic. They run left and right constantly. Their zombies not super humans. They charge STRAIGHT at you and are either very slow or can run but still SLIGHTLY slower then you. They strength comes from numbers and surprise. They should NEVER win in a straight up fight if i a gun and there is only 4 of them. But this is not difficulty this is bad AI and animations Dayz teleported me outside a window and broke my legs once. Once the game is properly patched it will be fine. But most of the complaints come from cheap things killing them. Like zombies hitting though walls, legs breaking randomly, etc.

No. This is dayz not fallout 3. Its not suppose to be a RPG. Its suppose hardcore zombie survival. Anyway it won't matter you're character will die eventually. Probably in less then a week.

Remove soldier body's while you are at. Those things cause texture glitches.

I am cool with it. Just don't add weight to ammo *seriously i have held bullets you could have a bag of 100 of them and not feel much* and food/water. Because in dayz why a normal person would only need 3 cans of beans you character has a hunger issue and needs one can half a hour. And two things of water/soda.

Hmmmm would need to be more. Like a special type of zombie. I would say basically a re skinned human with double speed and a remodeled axe.

Second time this happened. First time it was when a hacker was nuking buildings. First time I was looting a body and suddenly I heard a snap noise, some blood came out of my foot and I died instantly and no gunshots were heard. Now it happened again, I was just running towards a buildings where I heard the same snap sound like stepping on a branch, blood came out of my foot and I died instantly. Both shots hit me in the same place, the foot, and both killed me instantly. Is there even a gun that can do this *i had 8000 blood the first time, 11000, the second* because I doubt any gun can drain all my blood to -500-1000 from shooting me in the foot once and not make a sound. Is this some hack? Has this happened to you? Maybe this is rage but I had so much on me.
