My first character in dayz was killed when I was running on the coast looking for some food when I met 4 players with axes. One of them in his best stereotype redneck voice said "EH BOYZ WE GOTTA LIVE UN" and they all proceeded to murder me with axes. At least I wasn't sniped from a dude with a dmr/as50 like most people.

I think we both got carried away there. Sorry about that I am 89% asleep here. Anyways. I am pretty sure this is one of those "self explanatory" things. Looting unconscious players I am 90% sure is going to be in standalone. Then if you want to disarm someone just shove their gun in your backpack or...something. But we do need some way of disarming players. Instead of this weird "no touchy" shield unconscious players have. (expect for the backpack. Any idiot can steal from a backpack in dayz)

Last thing I am saying because I don't want this thread to become just you and me arguing. For one stop accusing me of not playing dayz. I have played quite a bit of dayz and I don't mean to brag but I am pretty sure I know my shizz from experience. I am trying to HELP YOU by offering you some suggestions to avoid killing people you don't want to, so stop getting angry because I am not agreeing with you. If you really want to know how to avoid having to shoot people then here. This is something I have saved in my notepad folders that i sent to my friend when he asked for advice. I will just copy and paste it in here. 1. Check your buildings before you go in. Use third person to your advantage. If you are on a first person only server like I usually play on then lean around your corners. If someone is in there then unless he is Clint Eastwood you should be able to get out of his line of sight before he can shoot. Then use chat to talk him from outside the building. TIP: Type what you want to say if you don't want him to hear the direction of your voice. 2. If he is friendly, cool you found a buddy. Its up to your instinct to determine the truth from lie. I find the best way to see if he is a bandit is to just to see how he behaves. Poke around the corner and see if he aims his sights down you or if he tries to shoot you. If you lean correctly and use proper cover he shouldn't hit you. Another trick is to say your leaving and then hide near the entrance and see if he comes out looking for you. IF he comes outside the building and looks around for you. Odds are that he was planning on shooting you from the back. 3. If you suddenly run into someone there are a few things you can do. 1. When 2 players bump into each other all of a sudden there is usually a lot of confusion. If you use use this to your advantage I find you get get into another room or into some cover most of the time because he won't react fast enough. 2. If you do shoot him and he gets knocked out he is going to be out for probably around 15 seconds, or he will die if his blood was low. You can be a hero and bandage and transfuse him or you can leave. Odds are when your done patching him up you will still have 7-9 seconds before he wakes up. Doesn't seem like a lot but if you are a building that is plenty of time to get out of the building. Or you could go behind him and tell him not to turn around when he wakes up. 3. You can't save them all. If you are in electro or cherno and just fired off your dinner bell then I would just leave. You are going to have zombies and players coming for you and there is no point and both of you dieing. 4. You ARE going to die from being betrayed and you WILL have to kill people. That is just how dayz is. There is no way to avoid it. Also use the search function. There are plenty of suggestions which are pretty much the same thing. OH WAIT THERE A SUGGESTION IN HERE. I would like the ability to loot unconscious people... Kicking away a gun would be cool too. I was even considering deleting this and copy and pasting it for another time but...I typed it already. Also, if this was added in. Trust me it would do more harm then good. It would be used more for hold ups then helping players. BECAUSE MOST PEOPLE WHO HELP PLAYERS DON'T SHOOT THEM!

It could fool players too. I doubt the elektro and cherno snipers waste bullets on zombies. A trick I do sometimes is I take off my backpack and crawl around when a sniper is around. Since some of the zombies crawl the sniper rarely notices me. Because its at long range its hard to tell the difference if there are no name tags so most snipers check for a backpack.

Its okay. I have a Personally I like my games the way they are. I find gimmicks never work well. Also I don't think we are ready for VR. Those goggles are just a computer screen shoved into your face.

Morphine isn't hard to get once you figure it out. The only issue I have with morphine drops is that all the hospitals are on the coast. They need to put more hospitals in the game or spread the current ones out.

I never had this problem but I can understand what you mean. +1. For some reason whenever I don't have antibiotics i get a infection and when I have them I never get to use them. Its like carrying them in my inventory gives me immunity.

I think you need to take a really big chill pill and calm down. It was a joke and I was pointing out a flaw in your logic. 1. If you don't want to kill him just avoid him. 2. If you meet at point blank and shoot him then just sprint away. If he gets knocked out from a gunshot it WILL last long enough for you get away. Its the knockouts from low blood that are very short. 3. ...Yes I have watched Frankieoncpc. So? Don't assume watching a big youtuber means you know shizz. He is just one man playing dayz. He is not a guideline and most people who try to replicate his style end up dead. Its to play dayz in a way that works best for you. 4. I don't think putting a timer in is the proper way of adding punishment to dieing. That doesn't punish you. That just waste your time.
