One thing I want to say: Rocket has stated that their will be no real punishment for being a bandit other than the skin. Why? Because he doesn't want to punish people for choosing a play style they like. While I agree that banditry is a bit extreme right now, I also agree it shouldn't be too punishable simply so it isn't as, what's the word? Restrictive. And there is some incentive to raise your humanity as you can get a hero skin (makes you run faster, you're immune to low caliber bullets, etc.), it's just such a big hassle because nobody trusts anybody else to help them. Other than that the physics/UI/AI and everything else are being heavily improved upon in the standalone, so look forward to that! ;)

So after generously getting blood bagged by some kind medics, I set off to get some food as I have none at the moment. As I headed down to Zeleno I noticed smoke rising in the air and it, of course, turned out to be a heli crash. Anyway, I painstakingly rolled up to the chopper. Now, let me just say right now that the FAL is probably my favorite assault rifle, however I practically never take them because the ammo for them is (sadly) ridiculously rare and hard to find. However I came upon the chopper to see not one, not two, but FOUR FN FALs (one of which happened to be a PVS4). So, as nonchalantly as a homeless African child in a free all-you-can-eat buffet, I took the PVS4 variant, took what must have been 6-7 or so mags, and then ran off cackling like a maniac. Just wanted to share ;)

^ This is a horrible deal. Either go for a coyote or search in any grocery store, 70% of the time there's at least a Czech, and you're around 50/50 to get an ALICE pack. Not worth losing some rare shit.

I never use a scope for assault weapons as I'm almost exclusively short-range with them, and if it does happen to be night this in particular will help me out. And yes, single FN FALs are quite common but I've never seen a quadruple pair.

Ok. I found the FN FAL when suddenly.... AN UNDEAD ZOMBIE DRAGON RAISED FROM THE GRAVE AND I WAS FORCED TO USE... THE POWER OF ZEN TO DEFEAT THE MASSIVE BEAST. But suddenly, a giant talking hamburger slapped my ass and I peppersprayed him in the face. Unfortunately he called on the powers of the fast food gods, and I was doomed...

Well, this is the first time I have ever asked for help, but... I'm a few hundred meters or so South-West of Kabanino. After logging of for the day and coming back the next, the server I joined apparently had a hacker as I spawned in side an air craft carrier. I immediately alt-f4ed seeing as I wasn't in combat and I didn't want to deal with some bullshit hacker. So I logged back on and, while I wasn't dead, I had broken my leg, passed out, and was bleeding out. By the time I woke up my blood meter was flashing and my screen was completely black and white. While I was able to fix my broken leg with some spare morphine I had, I only had 4 cooked steaks with me. While this helped me a bit, I'm still quite red on blood and my screen's pretty black and white. If I had to estimate I'm somewhere between 3k and 4k blood. If someone could blood bag me up, that'd be awesome, thanks! In-game Name is Mickusey. My problem is that I'm really low on blood. My location is a few hundred meters or so south west of Kabanino. I currently have military camo on. My guy is Caucasian with black hair and sunglasses. I also have an ALICE pack and a Bizon SD. EDIT: Would like to thank Jimmy and MozzyJ from the teamspeak channel for helping me out. We had some problems with the server and some security worries but it worked out good in the end ;)

^ Yeah, while the main hive does have a fair bit of hackers, groups like Balota Buddies whitelist you and check your GUID and stuff to make sure you haven't hacked before. After that you can enjoy not having any hackers around ;)

^ Yeah, this happened to me before when some hacker on a private server instantly loaded crazy gear on everyone and started spawning a bunch of vehicles. In my case, I got a G36 Camo which, of course, is illegal. I was immediately killed after and banned. Just be happy it wasn't main hive.

I use a DMR for sniping, if I have room in my backpack an M240/M249/MK48 for when I'm close-range (I like the feel of rapidly pumping 50 rounds into a bandit ;) ) and a revolver/M1911 as a sidearm (common ammo, fairly quiet, good accuracy, and some of the only sidearms actually viable for close-quarters PVP). So basically an assault weapon, a sniper rifle, and a powerful pistol for a sidearm.

CZ can be found in practically every other barn/deer stand in the game, the M24 has an equivalent chance of spawning (I think) and then the SVD is next. But ofc the M107 and AS50 are by far the rarest. EDIT: Apparently the M24 is actually rarer. Still, it's no where near as common as the 550, and (in my opinion) it's the best sniper in the game next to the AS50 once you get used to the mil-dot system. EDIT 2: Okay, the M24 and DMR are both equivalent in spawning except for when you are in barracks, in which you have a .12 % chance of finding an M24 and a 0.24% chance of finding a DMR. Sorry it took so long to straighten out =3

I would give you a DMR w/ 3 mags but you are looking for all the stuff I'm looking for as well (NVGs, Ghillies, and especially a Coyote backpack) :o

Your character, location, and equipment is auto saved across all main hive servers. With private servers you must stay on the same server. EDIT: Ninja'd :P

I'd recommend playing the Taviana custom map. By far the most unique and feature-packed + it has a very horror-esque feel about it.

I've found that dropping the 3D res by just one level gave me an extra 10 FPS. Only problem is that it's blurry as balls so you have to adjust the interface resolution as well.
