The thing is, I don't want this game to be a solo game with no other players near me. It is even more pointless to me to live in a forest and fight only zombies than it is with the game's current state.You can do plenty enough for your survival in 2 weeks/month and if you survive the whole time have this medal. Starting from scratch once in a while is only something nice. And the thing is, most people with AS50's are not hackers but dupers, so they need to get their hands on one first to dupe it.

The hive absolutely must be emptyed. I just were on a server with 40 players in it when a hacker teleported everyone to NW Airfield. Seriously over half of them had ghillie suits and AS50's. We need regular basis hive wipes, like once a month or every 2 weeks, as after this time everyone seems to have their dupes going. It is absolutely ridicolous how many deaths are caused by AS50, for me personally like 3/4. I know people would whine if the hive was emptyed regularly, but if these wipes would make the .50 a little rarer and bring back some survival. Atm most people just seem to die with their stuff but ehh, no problem they have their dupe stashes. The other option would be to completely remove all .50 and stuff like that in game. And no, I'm not writing this because I feel like the underdog; I can easily get my ghillie and AS50 by going to Dobryy near Elektro with some Lee Enfield and shoot one sniper in the back. Whoah, fully equipped in 15minutes. Thats not fun, thats just lame.

This is just a little thought I've been thinking about with friends. This would probably end up being a whole new mod though. The idea is basically DayZ in alot smaller scale. The map would be the area of usual bean-wars, Elektrozavodsk or Chernogorsk. 40 people in one city, PVP oriented. Same sort of loot system that DayZ has, and a crapload of zombies around the players of course. The guns should be low tier too, as in a proper bean-war. Eating and drinking would obviously be necessary and the scoreboard should show both time alive and player kills. I've had some bean-wars in by DayZ carrier, and I can say that it is an amazing feeling to be in the middle of a firefight with zombies running around attacking everyone on sight. Can't really get more excitement from anything in games. For me the most fun part in DayZ is the PVP as it is simply too easy/unchallenging to just fight zombies or live in a forest. I would do bean-wars a lot more often, but after a long time to get decent gear, it often feels like too much effort to lose (unless I'm looking to start over, it is nice sometimes as it does get boring not having PVP fights while just looting more and more stuff with random people encounters. You can go a lot more risky if you have just started and have like an Enfield instead of AS50) And when I respawn on a new character there is often too little action in the main cities to really get a nice war going. I know that what I suggest would take a great deal of work but I think it would be awesomely fun to have a bean-wars mode if people are feeling like more action. The regular DayZ is amazing for what it is, I play it a ton. But just to have this option to jump into a zombie filled PVP for 20 minutes with your friends would beat DayZ for me if I don't have time for a longer gaming session.
