  1. Players would opt for a chopper if the zombies were a bigger threat to cars. If driving through a large pack of zombies slowed you down and messed up your car, dragged you and your friends out and beat them to death, you'd learn how to fly a chopper just in case you found one cause it bypasess all those hazards. Also to the guy who jokingly mentioned cars using manual transmission as a comparison. Good idea! It would be awesome if some of the cars you found were manual transmission only. Beggars can't be choosers. Don't like it? Walk. Brilliant idea.

    Cooldown timers on food/drink.

No i like doing the steak challenge. Don't take that away from me.

    Hatchet as a secondary?

Agreed. If the hatchet became a secondary as is I'd never pick up a pistol. MORE ROOM FOR M203 ROUNDS!
  4. I have suggested before that players could have the ability to loot or craft a "mirror on a stick" that they could use to see around corners, over obstacles and possibly under doors. The mirror would hopefully provide a picture of what is out there but possibly have a skewed perspective due to the type of mirror. A flat mirror will show a small area whereas a convex one will show a wider area but make judging distance between things harder "Objects may be closer than they appear" style. Arma 3 supposedly has the capability to do picture in picture quite well, why not use the technology for tactical mirrors?

Third person vs First person view

I have tried to pin people before and because of this very reason it doesn't work. If they are on a rooftop with you shooting up in order to keep them supressed your shots mean absolutely nothing cause they can just go prone, watch you and laugh. Then you reload and they pop up...

    Fix Hide Body

ability to drag dead bodies into bushes. done.

    Trip line with bells.......

I'll just look at your little trap, laugh and then silently vault over it. Then I'll vault all the way over to you, shoot you, then do a little vault dance.

    Perk/Experience System

I don't want the game to tell me I am good at something. I just want to be good at it all on my own.
  9. I posted this on the other gigantic "First Vs Third" thread also but I figure the idea might be relevant. All of this talk about "invisible periscopes" gave me an idea. What if it were possible to find an item in game called "Mirror on a stick" or make one craftable by combining a steel bolt and a small mirror. Arma 3 has boasted all about it's ability to effectively do picture in picture on things like the submarine viewscreens and rear view mirrors on cars. If you want the advantage of third person and possibly even a bigger one, you'll have to loot or make it and use it at the appropriate time since you won't be able to hold it and shoot at the same time. Also think of how your heart would skip a beat when you actually catch a glimpse of someone in that mirror unexpectedly.

    Standalone Poll: First Person Only?

  11. I'm all for cutting down on the number of all-seeing, roof dwelling, lone wolf, ghillie-wearing AS50 snipers. I wanna be able to beat one of these guys by quietly climbing the stairs or ladder behind him and not die cause he's got the top of the ladder or stairwell in perfect view while stil looking forward a mile and 150ft. down the side of the building without showing his face. I think bandits who adopt this tactic should be punished cause in reality what they're essentially doing is stranding themselves up there in exchange for a good shot. It's supposed to be a serious risk for a sniper to climb to a roof not a goddamn win/win situation.
