  2. Agreed now that the shotty spawns they have to reduce the spawning of M4s to balance things out. M4 should be high end ultra rare weaponry, and I hope the more they add other weapons the less M4s we see in the game.

    yeah I think people are server cycling every barracks on the test servers to find one so it can be tricky :) had luck in the school of vybor, top floor always seems to spawn a weapon. It's cool but IMO the FX is superior : magnum is loud, not that accurate, and seems super rare.

    yeah I think all the weapons could do with a small accuracy boost. The pistol feels ridiculously inacurate too.

    My main issue is the long eating and drinking animation, after a while it can be kind of annoying. Also an option to actually eat a whole can in one go is necessary, like choose the percentage of food you want to eat before the animation is played.

    Hello there, I'm pretty sure rocket said as long as it is in alpha. So at least 6 months-1 year I guess. You might want to wait for the game to improve because the alpha right now is pretty rough.

  13. Looks more and more amazing, but I'm still concerned with the animation quality. I really thought it would be an improvement over the mod but the running still looks "unnatural" a bit like if the character was gliding and some transitions look in fast forward and not really natural either... Pre alpha I know... still, so much immersion could be gained with solid animations and characters that feel like they have a "weight" in the world.
  14. yeah amazing stuff, and those volumetric clouds are pretty photorealistic too IMO!
  15. They have already worked quite a bit on the zombies pathfinding. They do not zig zag anymore, and can now attack while moving. BUT nothing is final and they are working hard on a new pathfinding system to make them feel a lot more natural. Also animations and such are subject to change during alpha/beta states. Remember it's pre-alpha, everything you see is either placeholder or in very early stages of development. BTW the new forests look so amazing, is there a higher resolution version of the screen somewhere?

    yeah it's totally a question of taste I think. I hate the fact that most items are in some sort of green shade that you don't find in real life for one reason : no one would buy clothing in this color. EDIT : i'm discussing this subject cause I've stated how everything else looked really improved and better than E3 or rezzed presentations. I'll just have to scavenge longer to find those cool items for my badass survivor. I'll pass on the pink hat, thanks.

    I agree on everything you said, but it looks like we're not seeing the same game. I'm all for varied and realistic items. I just don't think THIS is varied or realistic at all. It's more like, random and ugly.

    I've graduated from an art school that's maybe because those kind of things hurt my eyes so much. Graphics are secondary in terms of polygons and shaders and stuff, but for me they are important when it comes to colors and reinforcing an atmosphere. Looks like the SA lost a lot of atmosphere compared to dayz mod, which is kind of sad.

    I'm all for lots of diversity. I think the biggest problem is the materials are just not rendered correctly. Doesn't look natural.That pink/purple hat is horrible. Those yellow cargo pants are disgusting. The green jeans, and green hoodie look like... vomit. I'm sorry it's what it inspires me when I watch the video. On the other hand, I really dig the new backpack. it's all about making things look realistic and not just tweaking some hue setting in photoshop thinking it's enough to make different clothing colors. It's just not enough.
