Well i have pleaded my case here and i know the DayZ staff can't do anything about it but i felt that i need to defend myself and not get the label of one of the people who have ruined this game for so many honest players. Don't get me wrong i had the same view as many of the posters in this thread regarding abusers, until something like this happens to you then you won't know how it feels to be innocent and then you are suddenly tossed over to the other side of the fence with all the scum. I am a Game Master in a very well known MMO and part of my job is to process ban appeals and i have to say if i got this amount of people all claiming the same thing it doesn't take a genius to work out something has gone wrong somewhere down the line. Granted most of the people who were banned are scripters and deserved the ban they got. I really do hope someone makes a official post soon and it gets fixed sharpish. The only thing i worry about now is if BE will be honest with the screw up and admit to it to everyone.

They must be able to differ between the innocent players that have been banned and the not so innocent just taking some time looking at the logs. All i want to do is play the game but because of this i have to now wait while we get called "scum and every name under the sun" until some of us get our bans lifted.

Well it must be something like that because i can't think of anything else at the moment.

If i thought the global ban was a one off screw up i might of paid for another copy of the game so i can play DayZ again but what i am thinking now is whats the point in wasting more money when we have done nothing to warrant a ban in the first place whats to stop BE banning us again..... This is going to make DayZ lose even more players that haven't already stopped playing due to the scummy hackers.

So has anyone had any reply back from this "Dwarden" Guy yet?

Yep i have been banned again and ive not even logged in to any game servers since i was unbanned...... something is screwed up...

Going to try playing and see if i get another ban, will update here.

As far as i know Battleye have not released any official statement nor has any other people about the false Global bans.

Well the only thing i am doing without any risk of being banned is watching someone play DayZ on TwitchTV XD

That server must had been connected to the hive with Battleye enabled otherwise you would start fresh.

Yeah any server that is not connected to the hive and is not using Battleye banned players can get on.

This is madness wth is going on lol

When i was banned it just said "Battleye: Global banned #bla bla" Then when i tried getting on other servers it said that i was Global banned and was moved back to the main server list.

Yeah i don't even dare log onto any server at the moment :(

Told you something fishy is going on. If the "hackers" have a way of steeling our ID then we are all at risk and something has to be done about it and fast.

Not sure if that's a wise thing to do until we get some kind of official post on the subject because after being banned i don't want to even open Arma folder.

Same message i got twice and Ive been unbanned twice so something fishy is going on with Battleye.

Well Battleye wouldn't let me join any other servers so yes it is a global ban.

In that case how comes i couldn't log onto any other server while being banned?

Well its strange because i was banned this morning then i was unbanned went for a nap and left DayZ running while i was in the lobby of a server and the same message came up again saying i was global banned. then i clicked ok went to the main server page and tried going onto another server and the ban was lifted? How can someone be banned while sitting in a lobby and might i add i was sleeping too >_<

Well i don't even feel like logging in after being unbanned in case i get banned again till this whole mess is sorted out. Was thinking is it even worth me recording me logging in and playing for awhile incase i do get banned again to show i was doing nothing wrong?

So i recently got DayZ 3 days ago and i fell in love with the mod, So i was running up to the north east air field and BANG you have been global banned? I have never used a "hack or script" and i am the only person who plays on this computer so WTH is going on? Global Ban #### Anyone have any ideas because this is frankly Bu****it
