Hmmmmm......Ok well you make a fair point now. Also, a lot of the changes though don't take a simple line of code or simple layer of textures/meshes. :3 -
I am not saying mods offer no improvements but I am worried about it becoming/dying like the DayZ mod. Also your referring to maps, I am not worried about extra maps. :3

Overdosed, Steam servers have gone down quite a bit in it's history and I have used it also for a super mega duper long time. But, I kinda dislike it now....but the main reason has nothing to due with the topic anyways.

I like how people keep pulling up the "Well, you don't have to play the mod then, go play your vanilla game hurdurhuehue!" The reason me and others (at least I hope) hate it, is because it thins out the community so badly which causes too much variety. Sometimes you can't have 50 items on the food menu....10-20 can do just fine. Whatever though, were just beating a dead horse. (Off-topic->) I especially hate it though when people say people like us don't know how the PC world works...LOL I have been modding myself since UT99 and never EVER did those mods destroy the community. I just had to get that off my chest. ^-^

Well, actually 1M copies have been sold, and quite a bit of the player base has left. So, there isn't 1M of us. ^-^

Rocket, himself has said that there will be private hives later......which is ok (to an extent) but mods...HELL NO.

Now that I think about it....everyone is right...your really nice! Cleaning their items and possibly wounds for them. You can take my loot anytime man....:P

No, mods will ultimately END this game. It will cause the community to be divided up so badly that people will just end up quitting. Look at the DayZ mod for example...too much variety killed it.

I guess to be more clear on what I HATE to death, is mods for DayZ. Like earlier said Overwatch...yadda yadda. I am ok with Private Hives I guess but the moment it will allow different versions or mods. NOPE. :)

No, custom hives will ruin this game, and further more those custom hives will lead to different versions of this game like for example Overwatch or Epoch. While this may give more variety, it's will give too much. Spreading it way too thin, and eventually lead to DayZ's death. I had a private hive for 2 years and it was a hassle keeping it up with what people "Liked" eventually I switched to public and it was a wonder. BTW There is no Official Private hives....you obviously don't understand either terms.

You say you know it's Alpha yet complain that the company is bad for having such a major bug in a Alpha....I am so confuzzled right now. Just quit the game for now before you bust a artery over a ALPHA.

Private hives and many custom mods for DayZ mod is what killed it.

I would love for there to be General aka Side chat, I had it on my server although I did disable voice in it. But, I guess you could also have an option to just not be able to see it either for those people who hate social/troll talk. LOL
