Ok, thanks for the clarification. :D Well, to be short and to the point....you will not be getting that type of game appeal and story in this sort of game. There will never be AI in the game to care for or story line missions. Maybe when there is private hives and modding support you will get that sense and RP but as of right now...it won't happen.

So, what you are asking is why doesn't DayZ have a better storyline and open arms to women? Or am I completely off? xD (Just woke up, sorry) CoD = Call of Duty

Or you could read the road map to see whats coming out within the year. AND if were to also read the Dev Tracker Rocket said there was going to be a new experimental patch update. Which we all know is the big o'l update with dem new towns, guns, and cooking. Experimental is there right now to test accelerated time, quadrant loot respawn, and the mass loot position change. Nothing big.

Yes, he said central hive but then goes to just say "...own players, the hive, in my opinion is basically a feature that is not needed...". He should change it to "the central hive", that way it's not confusing.

Side missions were just a script modifications that server owners did to make there server more fun. (I did it for my overwatch server) They will not add such things to my knowledge, as the game isn't really intended for missions.

A Private Hive is essentially just what your explaining though. It's pertained towards one server instance. So, one cannot just server hop from a public to a private, vice versa.

Right, data is saved server side....to a hive (server). OT: He is saying there no need for a Central hive or a "Hive" and so each server should just maintain their own players....which essentially is a Private hive. Saying there shouldn't be any hives would cancel out both the Public and Private hives. So, he needs to clarify more on his statement. :lol:

Without a hive, no data could be saved correctly (A private hive is the same thing as a central hive) :|

I don't give a damn how long it takes. I have patience, I mean waited over 14-15 years for Duke Nukem Forever to be made and in thee end it got finished. (Horribly) My point is that if you just give a little more patience then we will get a excellent finished product. But, with all these children spamming and beetching why they're taking forever, is going to demoralize them (somewhat) and make them not really want to work hard for us.

You need to read up on Server renting rules.... Although it would be SUPER KICK-ASS if we could do that. :D (Maybe beg a developer to allow it?)

When searching for the Experimental servers put your ping to 1000/9999 and then put the BattleEye Filter on No.

The server was desyncing REALLY hard and what happens is that while the cilent is off from the zombie (in your case) the server still records your position (server case). So, while you were away from the zombie on your screen in actuality you were right there standing still where the zombie was facing towards. You cannot fix this problem unless you and the server system is direct 100% connection again or else this happens.

I want them when they're finished. I do not care if they arrive in 2015, as long as they're fixed and fit with a Klondike bar case.

Now, I am not 100% but after playing around on my server around Gorka for about 5 minutes I found loot in spots where loot normally doesn't spawn. I only have two pictures and since it's late I don't have to time to go to NWAF for y'all. Maybe someone can go to the airfields in non-official servers to check for loot in the tents and confirm this? Anyhoot, I think that they added the fix to non-official servers now. Images were resized to 800x600. Update: I went to the NWAF and loot spawned inside the tents. (On my server which prior to today's maintenance did not spawn loot here). :D Ok, goodnight all.
