1. The game will not have game modes, but it will EVENTUALLY have base building. 2. Private hives are coming Q3/Q4 2014. Do yourself a favor and just look at the road-map or use search function.

The game can only use up to 2 GBs of VRAM and that's WITH a parameter change. He will take a hit at 1440P.

Yea, they mentioned them a couple months back. They are indeed implemented too. I am just not aware of what server hoster does this thing.

There is already talks about RIOT gear being made. They are basing it off there local police force's RIOT gear. -
The DayZ Roadmap already talks about them allowing the usage of Multiple cores, around Q2/Q3 2014.

Every server is hooked up into the "same" public hive, that public hive is the one holding all the data including the players location. Also, isn't there already sub-private hives from what I heard a couple months back? They could just make all unofficial servers sub-private hives. ^-^

Technically it's not REALLY 8 cores. Also, while multi-cpu optimization is good, it would be better for them to work on per core optimization.

That's alot of separate private hives, and loads of money just for a server jumping issue.

Why does everyone keep thinking it's easy to make games just because you switch companies or have loads of cash? Why the rush? Back in the day I waited YEARS like more than 5-6 years for a game to come out. Yet, the even greater thing was that people were freaking patient AND they didn't complain like people nowadays. Do people have this "fast-food" mentality or something? If you don't like the damn game then move on, stop wasting precious space and time. For both OUR sake and yours. (BTW speaking in General not 100% directly towards you, AceQuat)

True but also not every server provider right now allows the installation of BEC. Without BEC you cannot install it.

It would not be a bad idea but the whole breaking down doors thing will not work. The door models and with the way RE acts....it wouldn't be possible (afaik).

Because hardly any people know how to set up a BEC scheduler.

Right now there is not much else to do. If your already bored, I would suggest taking a break from DayZ.

Fireplaces will come out when there done. When exactly is that? IDK, but I'm going to be a PATIENT person and wait it out. Another thing is alot of you seem to hate the devs and the game with a great passion...yet y'all stay here every single day...like why not move on then? *sigh*
