Only reason you could range find was because if the server wasn't on Veteran difficulty or higher (Mercenary), then it would allow you to mark waypoints on the map.

I just said what buildings to go to. xD Anyways, you should go to Balota, Northwest Airfield, Military base that is North of Kamenka, Military Base that is North of Veresnik which is West of Kabanino, Vybor, and Lopatino...the list goes on man. Just go North. :)

No. It's just another way for people to show how big their epeen is and quite frankly I think it's odd? Like this isn't some Killing Floor, Unreal Tournament, or Quake. You do not need to know your stats, it's not like your gonna go to a MLG tournament or something. xD

Global chat is only for logged in RCON admins, and it should STAY for admins only. Side chat is for all the people who want to chat across the server. :) Anyhoot, I think side chat would be a great feature BUT must have a toggle to turn it off or on.
