The logic? There doesn't have to be any logic. *facepalm* Anyways it was removed because it clipped and did not correctly fit the model. Running several distances doesn't prove an argument. The ingame player models are not 1:1 ratio to real life humans so it doesn't matter if you have 1000 different kind of masks with all kinds of badass helmets to test them on in real life. The gas mask clipped with the ballistic helmet so it was removed.

Vehicles will most likely be pushed to Q4. Also, I am positive there won't be a patch tomorrow. You have to remember wednesdays are mainly just for maintenance. How does loot respawn make it more "survival" like? While, I know it's good, it does not make it more challenging. They are working on a fix though for the rubberbanding.

DLC is fine with me as long as it's not P2W type of stuff. Otherwise bring the DLC on! I got more money to throw at BI. :) Edit: Do I think there will be DLC anytime soon? Hell no there won't be DLC anytime soon. We won't since DLC til probably late 2015.

The idea started in 2012, and the initial public release in 2013 was so basic that saying there was no optimization change since then is wrong. I have waited for 15 years for Duke Nukem, 12+ years for Fallout 3 and many more. Games take a long time to make if your going to somewhat perfect it. I am sure they will make optimizations for AMD hardware in the coming months.

Well, you better PM a dev with that "simple" fix that you mentioned. :P
