You must realize somewhere inside you deserve what you got for hacking and like the guy above me... see you in arma 3.

Who cares if it is OP. This is based on a Mil Sim game. Mil Sims are meant to model real life. Dayz is a sim for a zed apocalypse if it were real. In real life guns were not built for fairness, rather they were built as a response to an enemies piece of weaponry or tactic and meant to give as much as an unfair advantage for the operator as possible. Thermal is OP and for a good reason. It was meant to spot people easily and it does the job well. Stop trying to balance my FPS's >.< Dayz or not.

Shoot on sight hasn't ruined it. DCing has lol. My choice to Shoot on sight is my choice, and we used to be nice. DCing takes away the threat of dying which is what makes the mood of this game. Also maybe it should be Arma psycho? Have you seen CoD? Those guys can't shoot worth shit lol. Max - Yes i DO enjoy SoS lol. before we were nice people we SoSed. lol. Nothing like hunting a man in 223km2. We actually switched from SoS to capture and release, BECAUSE it was the harder thing to do and more thrilling.. also took teamwork. Now just back to SoS. Not using DC as an excuse. Just letting the kids know they brought SoS on themselves. And i hope rocket fixes it somehow. Honestly a 30 second buffer before your character is removed on DC (player provoked OR altf4) would fix everything.

I am currently ordering a new computer and am wondering if this will run Dayz on max. I have a 1500 budget since i spend all my cash on guns. intel core i5 3570k (from what I have seen spending 100 more for i7 2700k maybe adds 10% max in game performance) 570 GTX 2.5g Edition Arma 2 Installed on SSD My eventual plan is to SLI another 570. (is this worth it also or should i just get the 690/680 a few months from now) Eitherway. Currently with just the 570 gtx 2.5g edition and a crappy intel core duo E8400 i run at 40 frames outside cities and 20-30 inside cities with the exception of cherno berezino and elek where i run at 15-20 frames (18-20 good day) I assume my CPU is bottleneck currently. Right? as well as 6 year old HDD. Eitherway, what do you guys run with and what FPS? Also do my upgrades make sense? I will have a Z77 mobo, that runs the sandy and ivy bridge right?

Is this on max graphics? cuz i should edit that my FPS is on everything very low as it goes.... again assuming my CPU is bottleneck atm since its duo

i say rather than modify a weapons balistics to make it unrealistic or modify the weapons scope... Let's keep everything realistic but either A: lower spawnrate, or B: remove from game. I HATE when people say (oh make it super accurate but without thermal, or Hey make it still have thermal but cant zero and its inaccurate.) Really... any gun should be able to be zeroed and they should all be as accurate as their real life counterparts. Guns in RL were not built to be "balanced" rather they are built to give as unfair an advantage to the operator as possible against their target.

Hey, I just know what people have asked for. And regardless of what our admin can and can't do, he hasn't done the bad things that he can and can't do.

Was just looking for things related to our server and found this. I roll with WD pretty much everyday and I must say we only band from server if we really do feel someone DCed in combat. Hell, one time we got attacked by what we found out later was a hacker and it took us 2 hours to decide whether or not banning him was a valid decision. So if you get banned for DCin' in combat, it honestly really does mean when we shot you and you disappear, we check the log and if you dced alive your banned. Also we do not shut down server to get gear, though because of the vast number of our members on the sever at once. We are in no way shady and I know there have been times where people would beg for our admin to spawn things and he refuses to. We really believe in being honest good players and ask others to do so "thus the no DC in combat" All you need to do if this ever happens again is to go to the wardrivers site and appeal the ban there. You must realize on our side all that happened is you got shot in the head and your body disapeared without a death message and when we checked who was logged in the server, you were not.

I don't even see it as survivor and bandits. I just see it more as make friends with who you want and be better at surviving than other groups. Survivor or bandit its fun to just fight others. For example the group i play with has been fighting to hold berezino for a while and it's been pretty fun to see other groups try to take us out.

Was on my some fellow clan's server and going to meet with them when a player named 37 came by on a bus. Short story is i unloaded at where he was sitting on the bus with an Mk48 at 100 meters. I shot his wheels. He got out. I put two full steadily aimed bursts into him. I then ran as i aggroed zeds. I killed all zeds. spotted him looking for me. Probably put 20 more well aimed rounds into him then he shoots me through a bush and breaks my legs. Being a man not willing to DC out in a firefight i continue to use third person to spot his location and then aim down sights and spend a box and a half (100 round 7.62) at him. He he just shoots me and i die. I dc after i die and hop on the TS and tell them to check. At that point they see that someone is posting words in the middle of the screen saying "THE BUS IS COMING" and other things regarding a bus and killing. (note this guy was on a bus). They find that the same player that had killed me and they were having trouble kicking him. They finally had everyone leave and did some server stuff to kick him but then he came back and hacking more (unclear on these other specifics i was busy running for my life back up north on another server). Anyways. this is all i know. Please contact US85 admins they will vouch and show you proof and info.

Then again 3 boxes of 249 and 3 boxes of 240 and a DMR probably scared you shitless. was fun, please have the other 2 logon to die like men nexttime tY!

alot if better than FN fal. the weakest gun on our clan atm is proabably an M24. On death you can easily locate helo's by server hopping in open fields.... kinda gay, but hey, i've played over 300 hours and i'm kinda over the whole "look on an over looted server for gear" thing. Anywho, 1-2 hours grabs you a decent helo gun. Kill people from there on for whatever more you need.

Tired of all threads about how pvp needs to be "less" or "every encounter needs to be unrealistically scriptedly cool" Who here just LOVES hunting people down and destroying hours or days of peoples work. Who here just LOVES murder. Who here just smiles inside everytime you hear "your favorite weapon" fire another round and see your target downrange drop. I don't wana play BF3, I HATE CoD, and Arma 2 doesn't have as many servers anymore and plus you can't hunt people like you can on Dayz.
