thanks guys, yeah aim and move and look all work great, its just the other buttons seem to have a mind of their own. i map them on xpadder as the buttons i want, Ex: start is G for inv, right and left bumper are lean left and right, but they all are just magically different buttons, start is Esc, right bumber is Map.. etc, but X works as reload? and B is prone. So some work and others just wont. Its the weirdest thing.

I know most of you are just going to flame this as stupid, and WHO WOULD WANT TO USE A CONTROLLER blah blah blah, but seriously, go somewhere else :} If anyone has made a controller work for them can you contact me? I have xpadder, which i can get everything mapped out, but when im in game a few buttons just wont change. Like the right bumper will not change from map, and i can seem to get page up and down to work while in gear menu. If anyone could help me I will give you an L85!!! Thanks ! -thmoxy

Mucwa, thank you for your post. I got xpadder, and the Microsoft 260 PC controller. After loading xppadder and your dowload for controls i went into arma 2 to practice them, they worked great! Except: When i press A with the gun out, it fires.. Why? THE MAIN ISSUE THOUGH, when i load in Dayz, all the controls are wrong! the sticks work fine, and the zoom, BUT the right lean button goes to map, the wal/run toggle goes to crouch, i cant select gear and I CANNOT FIGURE OUT WHY! can you help me or team viewer with me to help me out?! i am so happy i can finally not be hunched over on KEY&M and instead play comfortably!

I'm not locking people out of public servers. I said I want to talk to each person before i invite them. Not that it's invite only, in the fact that i will ask them to join my server (ie tell the the server name). Please put my post back where I intended it to be, in SURVIVOR HQ. Bruyn how big is your TS server?

You fit the bill for our group. We have our own servers, but still get riff raft in them. We Are TH DAYZ: REAL SURVIVORS. We are more into the immersion and survival aspect. Hello all survivors! If you are tired of playing for dayz only to be killed by a hack/script then come to us. We try our best keep our servers clean of the dirty scripts that ruin the immersion and game play. We have about 10 people now that all (more or less) are really devoted to the group. We watch each others backs and are constantly trying to build up our group's survival. We are not ones to just sit and camp a hill in the trill of getting a kill. Instead we forage, we build, we recruit, and if need be, we kill. Our server is stripped to the bones to add more a REAL SURVIVAL feel to it. Got a team of about 10 (never all 10 are on at the same time though) About half are as you described, and the 3 i play with most are brits. If you want to join, add me on Skype: THMoxy; that goes for anyone here actually. We just got 2 new servers and are forming a good group. Also have a steam page TH DAYZ:REAL SURVIVORS. What we are all about is playing, surviving, and having a good time at that. We are serious when we need to be, and not when we're just chillen' somewhere. We despise hackers/cheats. Thats what prompted me to get our servers in the first place so none of that nonsense please. Bruyn we could def use a TS server, so if you are interested as well, you could have access to the serves ass well if we could try the TS out!
