I haven't seen any implementation of NPCs beside Salvation Island in DayZ, but in Arma 2 I love coming up on a crashed heli site or something with NPC's because they're amazing. Not like they're OP but they're somewhat realistic, sure they walk around like soldiers but the way you actually have to somewhat sneak or be killed is a lot of fun and hasn't gotten repetitive. This'll be the death of our friendship >.<

How? That doesn't make sense. It's such a vague statement. The way I picture NPCs you could be strolling through the forest and run up on a randomly generated base. Or in the dead of the night a heli flies over above, you won't know if it's NPCs or actual players. And they'd kinda be like Zombies so if you hide/are quiet they won't notice you.

Don't know why, maybe I'm secretly gay. But I'm always rooting for the minor characters (mostly black guys) >.> and they always seemed to get killed off or fucked over. I like the idea of NPCs how Wasteland did it, like an outpost or a crash or something. I mean a heli crash with soldiers and people going to it to check it out isn't too far fetched, The Walking Dead did it. Even though their entire show is mediocre.

I too watch the Walking Dead, although I think it's not great if anything mediocre but sadly it's the only zombie show currently out and everyone's into drama nowadays. But I think having their clothes and hair is eh, but having some sort of cameo/easter egg referencing the series would be neat.
