First of all, delicious. Yea same, BUT Standalone is supposed to have a tweaked engine that helps with optimization and should run better so you could throw in more zombies. -

A game called Overgrowth made by Wolfire have a feature in their engine, so the grass it changed to go "straight" off the land they're in. So they don't constantly stick straight up towards the sky. (Sorry if I said this awkward...)

I skimmed through this as I knew I couldn't help, BUT I didn't care that you said "scrub" 12 year old. Are you some trick shotter from Call of Duty? EDIT: Also if you want there's a DayZ Community called Balota Buddies they already have high populated password protected/whitelisted private hives. I mean it could be your clans main server or you could try and work with them for Anti-Cheats and such. http://balotabuddies.com/

Not sure, since DayZ is a mod of ArmA II and ArmA II is rated M for Mature. (Note that Mature could mean 16+ or if the kids parents think he seems fit to play) so I mean if we have a 6 year old with an IQ of 173 he could be qualified as Mature and could play DayZ. -
