Um, is it because nobody replied?

Well that got creepy pretty quickly.

I made a thread on the DayZCommander forums about it being implemented, I think now that Frankie made a video the map will be in high demand. And on top of that other DayZ players with start uploading videos of it. It should be added soon. But yes, I really enjoy the map aswell. The vehicles are really cool and useful, and it's the only map that reminds me of Chernarus but better. It has this warmer more colorful feel compared to Chernarus. And that city scape, damn it's beautiful.

Not sure why you made this, but in my opinion the M14 is the best Battle Rifle you'll find for being a Hero, Survivor, or Bandit.

Are you using DayZ Commander? Usually updating through Commander will help with these issues.

I personally only play with friends or Balota Buddies, but the Balota Buddies is a good community and they're a great bunch of guys. I'd recommend joining there forums to play with them. They have whitelisted private hive servers that have admins on all the time, and hackers are very rare. http://balotabuddies.com/

I figure if you're on a Public Hive they'll start disappearing slowly, just get rid of it or trade it. So you don't lose it spontaneously and have nothing to defend yourself with.

M4A3 and guns like it, they're battle rifles. And for some reason hackers use them a lot, but they're not that great.

The way I find the "haunted green mountain" idea, it's just a running joke. But that's what I thought, you should speak to Steak and Potatoes. That place, no one should speak of that place.

Sounds like a lot of fun, I know my turning point in DayZ was playing on a 97ADU Private Hive AU47 I think. Anyways I had basic gear all my time and spent most of my time getting a gun like a Lee Enfield on the coast then staying around the area looting more and more thinking I was gonna get better gear. (Which I wouldn't) Then one day this guy I met on the 97ADU Teamspeak named BloodFart or xkazik and I looted the Balota Airstrip and found a ATV. After that we headed North and found not just one but two Heli crashes roughly 100 meters away from each other. And these were the first Heli Crashes I've ever seen. But after that I've become a lot "stronger" player I suppose. I can hold my own now.

I didn't read it, but I have this issue when I can't watch TV shows or movies when someones like "embarrassing" themselves. And I don't think that's the correct word for it, but when you asked "Why does nobody like my story?" I just felt so bad.

Yea, getting Beans on the forums makes me feel better about myself. But my average day in DayZ more recently has been getting on the Balota Buddies Teamspeak, getting geared up with a Squad and scouting around Stary, and the Airfields. http://balotabuddies.com/

Not reading all the responses. But you can use DayZCommander (which you should, I mean come on.) and add someone as a friend. Sadly this shows all players with the name and the server they're on.

Decent shot, I liked how you had to help your friend get his bearings.

Yea, sadly most likely not a hacker. It could've been though, probably not using popular hacks so he may not have had god mode or known how to use it.

I usually watch gameplay for games and when I buy them I know how to play, with DayZ this wasn't the case. My first 5-20 deaths were most likely due to zombies.

This isn't being a real bandit. But any form of bandits are ganged up on, on these forums. There's tons of Bandits out there that should be helping a fellow Bandit, but they don't as they just care about themselves. I'm personally not a bandit, and in the months I've played DayZ probably have had the skin 3-5 times. But getting back to the point Banditry is always frowned upon no matter what. -Sniping from a hill (Far) -Killing random players you meet in a town (Close) -Or using side chat like you did. Now the "non-bandits" are like the jocks of these forums they're just going to gang up on you and make you hate yourself, but in the long run you'll probably out last them when you put the barrel of your gun to the back of their head. And as I say this I still don't like the idea of being a Bandit, but I understand when I have to kill someone. But this is how it looks from a bystander on these forums, and it's not cool guys. Sure he kills your virtual character, yes you worked hours to get to where you were I've had it happen to me. But without Bandits, DayZ loses that look over your shoulder and anxiety feel. It's just be a bunch of AS50 Ghilles running around looting town to town until the server restarted, then you'd do the same thing over again. It'd get boring quickly.

Nice to know you at least didn't want to kill the guy, but if someones nice enough to give me a Heli ride I won't killem. BUT if a Heli randomly flies by or lands near me, you bet I'm going for that.
