Okay here it goes, even before I type this I am genuinely wondering if it is even worth the hassle, but anyway, okay, got banned, didn't cheat, was for a private hive server on overwatch anyway, so it is not the end of the world, but here is my issue. The admins were very confidence about my ban, as I appealed on their site against it, it fucks me off majorly listening to people saying they didn't cheat, protesting their innocence but whatever, I didn't. Am posting because I managed to get in contact with one of the admins, who was kind enough to send me the reason I was banned (they wouldn't say on the forums). Now, could someone tell me what the hell this script is and what it was even meant to have done please? I think i am just taking the ban to heart as it was my first, but if there is something up with my machine or some random bug, would be good to know so it doesn't happen again. I blocked out my IP and GUID (paranoid about having CD key stolen).

That's exactly what I was trying to do. But by changing costumes and hiding under a tree. Not by scripting. I don't even believe for one second this is consistent with hacking scripts. Obviously if I did hack, only getting banned from a private hive server. Wasting my time asking for a a solution would be pointless. I actually got unbanned from the server now but would be nice to know what happened.EDIT: Sorry just saw outfit thing, I am not sure I only read it once and isn't a standard thing. It was something like SA or S something alpha (again, not sure). Yeh sounds like stand alone alpha. Fuck knows. Looked quite a dark green colour with some massive helmet type thing.

Hi, just saw replies, no I was just laying there in the grass, the thing I did nearest to when I got banned was change into one of the custom outfits the server had. So I thought it may have something to do with that. EDIT: I read something once, where when you change, your character gets sent to debug or the ocean somewhere, and a new one is created, could it be that? If that is even true.. lol.

Right this is now the 4th time this has happened in less than two days, so I was wondering could I get an answer. Not accusing anyone of hacking or silly stuff like that, BUT really, I have shot 4 people now point blank range with the AK-74 and none have died, first event took place in Cherno, I climbed a building to leave my character safe, I always put them on higher ground, not sure why, and when I spawned back on the server, there was two snipers on the roof, I shot the first one, prone, scoped, twice in the face, I assumed that would be enough, they then logged out and body disappeared, so not an instant kill? Walked round the roof to find another, had the drop on him, put about 13 rounds into his spine, he shot me in the foot or something, I die. Can I assume both lived? Not being an idiot, I saw the blood on both people, know I hit them, two face shots did not get a kill? Anyway, same just happened to me, came up on two snipers, put a fully magazine nearly into one's mid-section, the kill never came up... then the next, about 6 rounds in chest then they just spanked me one shot again with a rifle. Am I being hacked or is the AK-74 that bad.... I would love to say I missed, but I was at most 6 foot between all of these kills.

I just stumbled upon a dead dog in game, that was named. I thought the dogs came next patch or am I mistaken? I didn't shoot it by the way, it came up as an Alsation when I put the cursor on it however it wouldn't seem to screenshot that info.

I just came on tonight and far too many threads have hacker in the title, I am not meaning to be inflammatory or make some over bloated point, but enough, the game is by no means perfect and the majority of threads I have seen could be put down to the poster being a bad player. I would like some kind of official answer, if possible about the hackers. I have had a 100 deaths all of which I would say are suspect but to blame hackers as consistently as others seems mad, the game is far from utilized, it is an alpha build and I feel people do need to get some perspective. Feel free to flame.

To be fair, I apologise too Dingus, seems everytime I look at the thread I am attacked so it was an auto-response just to be a bit of an idiot, you are an admin, more respect on my part was needed. Appreciate the links :)

Oh wait NOW i get it, no you are wrong. I said I had suspect deaths, do you know what I mean by that? They are suspect because they were odd and not normal within my personal dayz experience, the reason I put that was there was to show that I consider them suspicious, its subjective, but I would not be arrogant enough to call the people hackers just because I died.

I am not sure what exactly you are trying to do here... You have just quoted me back my original post and suggested something I can not see, at all. So either you have misunderstood it or I have written it incorrectly, what exactly are you referring to Mr Admin...

Exactly, these things are not mutually exclusive. How can you guys not see the point here, it's not that you disagree with me, it's that you don't see the actual issue that is being spoken about.

Thank you for the support Criminal, I find it unbelievably silly that people would resurrect a thread from a few days ago, only to not read it nor to even quote back the title of it correctly to me in arguments, never mind the page and a half prior of why I started it. At no point did they read it. It's fine to disagree but when all the points are fundamentally revolving around something that, I NEVER SAID. Gets a bit tiresome feeding these trolls. I got hacked yesterday, I was hacked the day before, I have been outplayed 100 times. I came on one night, many of the threads had a long rant about why they got hacked, none with videos or any proof whatsoever, most of the deaths from the bloated descriptions, you could see it probably was not due to hacks, so I started this thread. Never have I said the game is not filled with hackers. Just that the problem has been exaggerated exponentially by users being killed in legitimate ways. If you can not get your heads around this point that is fine, disagree with me, BUT ACTUALLY DISAGREE WITH THE POINT I HAVE BEEN MAKING. And furthermore, I am done with this topic, argue as much as you like with me, you failing to grasp what I said and have made clear several times really is a waste of both of our times.

Urrghh too tired for this shit. Right, did I say hackers did not exist? NO. Did I single you out AussieStig? NO. I fail to see your point, I have been hacked myself...Hacking exists, I was pointing out that a lot of the claims were fraudulent. End of story.

Was happening to me on .4 and only because i was waiting so long to load into a server, which would never happen, time I would start up the next five servers that it would take to get me in, was on the beach. I don't care anyway, I never make it far enough inland these days :(

Hi, I've been playing Dayz alone, for a long time. I have pretty much experienced every aspect of the solo experience and quite frankly I am bored now. There is only so far you can go completely alone. I am looking for people to play with, male or female, does not matter, your skill level is irrelevant, just looking for mature players, any age range is fine.
