Found a tent in a tractor on one of our posts. Lost all of yesterday's profits. 4 tents, gone. This bug sucks, and is related to the bear-traps not disappearing when removed. Like, it's hard to accept that this bug exists... An entire day of trading, gone. I mean, small bugs are whatever, but this one can ruin us... -

Yeah, right. We get those threats all the time, and the most that comes out of it is some ghoster or some wimp with a DMR a few hundred meters out taking potshots at us. Full frontal assault? Please do! We like the challenge! It gets boring if no one is trying to kill us. But coming beforehand and dropping satchels is just.... weak. As for your second topic, those seem like reasonable trades. Come by and we'll work something out, though ghillies and the like usually require [us to make] a pickup [from base]. (If any mods are reading and have the power, chopper please? We update fairly quickly and such :D) -

Not very often. We did sell a hatchback today, but we weren't using it anyways. Vehicles are a bit strange to trade, since they can't be taken across servers. -
Iirc you cant ban anyone for other than racism/cheating We've never banned anyone from our servers. Kicked a guy a few times since he was battle logging, but nothing permanent.

We've never lost a trader, if that's what you mean. If you really want to, you can hop on our TS and request that someone pick you up (from a reasonable distance, not across the map). While in the base, your gear is guaranteed. In the event of your unlikely death, we'll grab your stuff (or at least the important bits) and hold onto them. Also, bodies stick around a long time on our server (not sure if it's like that everywhere), so you can probably just run back and grab stuff off your body. Edit: Misread what you meant. If you really don't feel safe, you can ask for an escort out or just go to a safer server. If a hacker instagibs the server, we can't do anything about it. -

Us give you a ghillie? Bizon and mags sounds good, if we've got any ghillies laying around. If you can send a PM CC'd to Kurkistan and Vulwulf (To: Kurkistan, Vulwulf) and let them know to bring some ghillies, they will. If not, someone will have to drive back to base and pick some up. Wish we had a helicopter, mang. Edit: If the other way around (you want a Bizon for a ghillie), I'd say more like a bizon and a mag. The mags are huge, so there's no way you're going to blow one off, and they're much harder to find than the gun itself. -

We'll announce which we'll use, since it's kind of on the rails. Devil's is a little bit more defensible, but requires more people. Green is easier to fortify, but doesn't offer much safety to our spotter on the tower. Depends on who is available which day. By the way, I forgot to thank our server hopping friends from today. Thanks to you, we've found a security hole at Green that has since been patched :) Edit: Oh, and we're still at 100% trader survival! Sans acts of Hack, that is. -

Hmm, we might have been busy. If we're doing things that involve our main camp, we don't really pick up recruits. Might've just been a bad day. If you'd like to come by Sat or Sun we can let you roll with us. Edit: Also, we tried out Green Mountain today. Went really well. Kurkistan and Vulwulf should have my pass and be able to update our OP thread here, though I posted the important info on a new thread in General.

Well, good run. Probably the best one so far, really. Had maybe 10 to 15 traders come by, made a handful of trades. Biggest deal was some heavy arms and NVGs for a hatchback. Did have one panzy team ghost behind our overwatch and kill a few people. He and his buddy logged off with a Coyote and some rifle or another, no biggie. Moved the traders to another location in our UAZ and finished our trades. We're open tomorrow as well! Location will be either Green Mountain or Devil's Castle. -
Why is there a manual option to save tents and vehicles? Shouldn't that be automatic? Proposed change: Tents Any time the gear window closes -or- any time an object is added or removed (slightly more costly) [*]Vehicles: Any time the gear window closes OR any time an object is added or removed (slightly more costly) Any time the last person exits the vehicle OR any time the driver seat becomes unoccupied Or: Both tents and vehicles save on a single server-wide timer.

I've noticed with my Coyote pack that I carry a lot of crap I don't need, and inventory doesn't mean much to me anymore. I've done the whole two primaries thing, and it never really works out, so I think I'll go the other way. Rules are as follows: You may only use a Vest Pouch (6 slots). For added difficulty, you can opt to go without a pack. Simple, no? Here's my loadout, or at least what it'll be once I have a tent that isn't buggy I can store my other crap in: MP5A5, M9SD, 2 bandaids, 4 PDW mags, 2 M9SD mags. This means I have no ammo in my main inventory! It's all in the cloud, baby. I can function with nothing. It also means I can use the MP5 with the SD rounds for added stealth, or I can use my M9SD for when other players might be near. It also means that since the MP5 can take any 9mm ammo, I can replace ammo really easy. 1 bottle of water, one spare in pack. 1 epipen in pack. One blood bag in pack. One painkiller, one spare in pack. One morphine, one spare in pack. One can of food for emergencies in pack. I can kill animals for meat when I get hungry. I'll have a full set of medicals. I'll be able to have water as long as I plan my trips well. That leaves me 9 main inventory slots for whatever else I need/want.

That's the point. I could probably ditch the backpack altogether and still function perfectly well. Depends on if you're big into the PVPing, though. An MP5 really isn't good for that sort of thing. I guess the main problem with using an ACOG is that unless you have CH on, you need to aim, which could get a bit iffy in CQC. For going through town, I don't know if the MP5 can be beat for its versatility.
