I'd like the option to aim the headlamp up/down from the menu like you can with most headlamps IRL. That way if you want it pointing low you can toggle it down a few. Alternatively, some preset positions for it to cycle through (feet, hands, gun, up).

It's really simple: 3rd person gives an advantage that mimics your own level of perception in the real world. In the real world you can hear and see a lot more than you can ingame, and you have these things called eyes which can swivel around and a thing called a neck which can turn. You can also lean around corners and such in ways you can't ingame. 3rd person has a place in DayZ, whether it be to look at dat az or just for a higher level of perception when running through the woods, just like first person has a place for aiming and looking at specific things. The solution isn't to take out 3rd person, the solution is to make 3rd person not an advantage in combat where it currently gives an unfair advantage. Simply turn off the crosshair in 3rd person so you can't aim and fight, and remove the zoom functionality so if you want to look at something in the distance you use first person.

This tends to happen to me later at night around 3AM, and it's been happening since the last patch (so about 3 days). You can still run around and people can see you moving, but you get no incoming data. Your desync is up around 10,000 to anyone else.

I'm interested in the Freeside Trading Co having artists from within the community put on shows at our trade events once we get up and running or as standalone events. We could set this up through Direct VoIP and a public TS channel, with radio broadcast to the server once radios are working (pending their usefulness), with a paypal, etc tip jar hosted from the artist's website or through FTC. Right now it's just an idea, but I'd like to know if the community is interested in such a thing or could contribute before starting to plan it out too much. Anyone know what this is for? If you inspect the vial itself, the label says that it's Sodium Bicarbonate and it can be either consumed or used with a syringe. The syringe can then be injected into yourself or another player (?). Wikipedia says that it's used as an antacid, in cardiopulmonary resuscitation, to treat hyperkalemia and poison ivy/oak/sumac, and splinters. The DayZ wiki says that it's used like the antibiotics.

Tried morphine on a friend and it didn't do anything. It's probably a painkiller now.

Protip: Find a group of like-minded players and make this town yourself. No need to take directions from an NPC.
