Sawed off is easily the worst weapon. It hardly ever kills. What would I have done? Not used the Sawed off for one and two, I would have ran in a group of 3. You should probably get another escort. And since you're the medic, run with an SKS or an M4. Have a different guy use the Mosin. And the "Let's be peaceful" line is always used by Bandits who want a jump on people.

On the real, though. Cigs and smokeless tobacco should be a thing. Since nicotine is a hunger suppressant, it'd fit perfectly.

DayZ is never so black and white. I'm not sure why people can so blatantly label you either one. I personally play Hero. Whenever I'm rolling with the Rangers and we help someone out who isn't a squeaker and has a mic, it feels great. Just the other day we were on a tG server and helped out a dude with broken legs. Turned out he was tG and we got a server message thanking and welcoming us. That's just crazy cool. But we've had to put down a lot of people. Especially freshies. There's 101 reasons why you have to. He isn't listening, he's obviously trying to attack you, he won't cooperate, he won't leave when you gave him supplies. And if someone sees us shooting one, we look like dickheads. We've probably killed heroes and didn't even know it. That's the beauty of DayZ. It's gray as fuck and you don't know if the guy you just killed was really cool or a straight dickhead. (Unless he has a Payday mask on. Then it's black and white again and you can put him down. I hate Payday Mask dickheads) Anyway, I'd say if you were rolling alone, you did what needed to be done. It happens dude. It doesn't make you a bandit but if they're fresh, always try to make contact.

I don't see how being relative to Americans is, well, relative. Yeah, the 50's overtone of FO3 was definitely inspired by late 40's and early 50's America and the game takes place in America but that doesn't mean it didn't have atmosphere besides the 50's theme. The gray and dark setting of the game really set it off. It really made you believe the world was over. DayZ could pull it off. Even with the Copy / Paste towns. They just aren't trying hard enough. But maybe when the bigger shit is finished, they'll add some atmosphere.

I hear that. Stalker really freaks you out. Same for Fallout 3. It wasn't a scary game but the atmosphere was so strong. It could really spook you out. Especially Point Lookout. Speaking of Atmosphere, I really wish they would capitalize on these myths and legends. Cursed Green Mountain, The Green Mountain Lizard Man, Those creepy ass woods outside Svet. It would be easy.

H1Z1 is going to bomb so fucking hard. Mark my words, dude. WarZ was supposed to be the be-all-end-all too. And it was ass. H1Z1 is the same turd stew. F2P DayZ knockoff. Imagine a shitty DayZ but you have to pay for an SKS. Not to mention the originality of it all. These games didn't come about until the success of DayZ. Sure, that's how a lot of great games start. Being good knockoffs, I'll admit that. But look at it's fuckin' name alone. It's literally "H1N1" but with a "Z". Why not just call it "When Zeds Attack" at this point. As for The Forest, that is something I am looking forward to. They took inspiration from survival games and created an original product. I am very excited judging by the trailers. Haven't checked out the other two. Might have to now.

I think sickness should be way more common. But Zombies should never be able to infect you. Zomboid has that and it's pretty annoying. Encountering Zeds is a pretty futile attempt because you'll undoubtedly become infected. Maybe real diseases or something. Curable shit.

I don't know much about season 4 (no spoilers pls) but when I heard about Lizzie I liked her as a character. My friend is "acquiring" season 4 soon so I'll be all caught up! :)

A lot of these ideas sound engine based. Like the door idea. Not that it wouldn't be completely awesome but I doubt they could implement it. Especially when they're still working on bows and shit for weeks now. As for Zombies, yeah. I hate how Zeds are barely a threat. Even as a new spawn you can just box the shit out of them.

Rust does this. But Rust does it WELL. See, Rust's whole entire point is to build a base and survive. Without an impenetrable base, someone will just kill you. But each server has it's own Hive. So each DayZ server would have to be private hive. And that'd be a lot of fucking work. I actually like OP's Minecraft style way of playing though. And if DayZ was like this, you'd inevitably die anyway. Someone would be bound to find you and kill you.

In all honesty, you either got shot or you're the unluckiest person ever. Was there a window nearby? Like another poster said, I've never seen an M4 spawn in old Riffy either. A Mosin and an SKS, but never an M4. I'd wager someone set you up and you got shot.

I'm not trying to discuss KoSing at all, dude. I just wanted a good RP server for SA. And I don't really like the mod. Especially servers you have to get clearance to join. Lol. I use my hardcore hive for when I play with my clan (And my regular for lone-wolfing) and hardcore people are dickheads. Just like Regular. The only time they try to be friendly is when they don't have the jump on you by using 3PP.

Yeah, the Elektro spawns are now in Berezino. It was a cute attempt by the devs to lessen PvP and suicides. But now my favorite in game city has been turned into another shitty PvP hell-hole. gr8

I agree with some of this. The character movement always felt pretty smooth to be honest. But Zeds are shit. The game's main premise is zombies. So to have clunky and glitchy zeds is pretty silly. I hope this shit gets fixed. I don't expect a AAA title by full release. But hopefully most of these problems are ironed out. I just hope they don't half-ass it. They already have all the money they're gonna get. I hope the good in them doesn't let them just say "Fuck it lol we already have shit tons of cash".

I saw him in the police station in Berezino. I shot his legs with my Blaze (he had his axe up) and backed out his room. Talked to him over comms and told him we can patch him up and send him on his way. He replied with a nice "Fuck you" so I executed him. When he came back I didn't recognize his voice. He had an M4 stashed on the roof somehow and missed everyshot. Idk why I bled a little.

I have the mod but I don't play it much anymore. I was hoping the SA had a good RP server. As for you previous post, I know this. But the point of RPing is to actually interact with one another. I'm not looking for an easy server, just something fun. I'm not sure why you ranted on like I'm mad about being KoS'd.

Whenever I'm not rolling around with my clan, I play on Regular servers so I don't have to worry about losing gear or playing seriously. So I fell off a roof and got a spawn I'd never had before. For once I was actually confused as to where I was. It was pretty cool, tbh. Maybe not worth a thread but I figured and show some screenshots. Definitely a lot more immersive spawning in somewhere you haven't seen before.

Yeah, apparently these shit heads can TP wherever they want. They're idiots. Had one ruin an amazing firefight my clan was having the other day. And of course, it's some kid who can't aim worth a shit. I made it out alive but he completely ruined any immersion I had going. Won't be too long before we all get slung into the air by a hacker. Or nuked.

I believe you OP. Same fucking shit happened to me today. We go into the Jail and we don't come out. Some cunt is glitch hacking through the walls. Mows me down. Before that, it was a teleporter who is so fucking bad at the game, he had to TP away from me twice. He wasn't able to save his poor bastard friend as I executed him like the dog he was. Then to beat all, me and my clan and an allied clan got away. Before that, the Rangers wipe out a pussy group of curtain campers. We got accused of hacking and then they sent a wall hacker with TP to come kill us. Long story short, it's getting worse. So far, the worst server for it is "ARC Survival". No offense to them, but there is always hackers in that fucking server.

I don't hate 3PP, because people who hate it have servers with separate hives and such, but ever since I tried Hardcore I can't hardly play regular anymore. Also, very nice video OP. Love your style of commentary. Keep it live and real, biggun.
