This game is so based on chance it isn't even funny. Plenty of times I've loaded people up with shotty. They live to fight another day. Seen teammates eat it and come out with a broken leg at best. I've been shot up by M4 and still walked away. Hell, one day as a fresh-spawn, I ate 4 - 5 shots of SKS and about 40 yards. Ran away and patched myself up. It's just who has lady luck on their side.

Yeah, I have. Sadly, it doesn't make your footsteps any lighter. And there's no effect to it. In fact, other than storage and bullet resistance, clothes don't either. Can't die of cold so running around shoe-less and pant-less has no effect. In fact, the other day I was playing as a girl. Didn't wear pants or shoes. Just my vest, pack, and a very beautiful red wool coat. I kept asking people we'd meet if my dress was pretty. Good times.

They should definitely do this. Make the major spawns radiated. Force the fresh-spawns to go inland.

Probably me and my crew. We shat on quiet a few people today. Anyway, yeah, running in that situation is pretty lame. If you were alone and someone opened fire, it'd be okay. But the cowardly part here is you didn't try to stand and fight and protect your friends gear. Why even play with someone who will run away if it's down to them? I got killed going into Pub today. Heard some DC and went to check it out. Went in there and seen two guys talking to a freshie. They killed me. My buddy, instead of running away, cleared the entire room and I was able to get my shit back. If he had just backed up and ran out, I'd have been pissed. But instead he cleaned house and we got more loot.

Something tells me this won't be that realistic. I bet they stand still, might even walk back and forth. My expectations for it were high before they ever mentioned it. I wanted to track my kill, follow blood trails and such. But at least it's getting added in. Now they need to cut back on the huge amounts of canned foods so people actually have to hunt.

Yeah, those people make this game unbearable. I was able to play a long time without seeing any hackers. But I ended up running into quite a few here lately. Ever since Berizeno turned into Elektro #2, there's at least one hacker in it on a high pop. I don't have nearly as many hours (Only 200 for me) but I definitely feel like taking a break myself. Only fun I have on it anymore is rolling around by myself on super low pops.

I like how anytime someone speaks bad against DayZ, everyone gets a pact mentality and treats the offender as if they just committed sacrilege. DayZ is a bad game. It's in alpha, yes I know. But Alpha is no excuse for a horrid game with updates few and far between. Rust is alpha and all of the shit problems are being worked out. Just a month or so ago, simple things like animation looked awful. Now? They have vastly improved. Yet in DayZ we're still glitching through walls to kill eatchother. I like DayZ and play it every now and again (Recently had a kick with it but have came off of it) And I like it. The concept is fantastic. But that's all that is good. The game is a borderline abomination. If it wasn't so well received by the community for it's concept, it'd have been left in the dust like WarZ was. (And H1Z1 will be, mark my words) I mean, Rocket is talking about horses and bows and hunting, all while I can get all the food I'll ever need without leaving spawn. We still have wall glitchers and the occasional hacker. We still have horrid dsync and shitty animations. Don't get me wrong. I like DayZ. But it isn't perfect. Far from it. Alpha is no excuse. And if you ever want this game to be balanced, then stop shutting down "QQ" threads and publicly stoning people who are bitching. Without people whining, how would the Devs know what to fix? They already have their money. If we stop complaining, they'd probably push for Beta and release before Summer is over.

I've come to learn that if anyone is wearing a payday mask, they're up to no good. Every time it's an M4 kiddy or a dickhead angsty teen. EVERY TIME. So I learned to just KoS those sorts. I always give unarmed people a chance, though. It usually turns out badly but I'll give them a chance. Anything beyond those two, it's a chance. Could be a good guy, could be a cunt. It's a game of thrones chance.

Back in the mod, Helicopter crashes were a (assumingly) random event. Helicopter crashes usually yielded military loot. When one would crash anyone near by would try to find it. Or "Hunt". Helicopter Hunter.

I don't blame OP. Almost all of my deaths are instant. I don't even get to hear the sound of a rifle firing. Just *thump* "You are Dead". With literally no warning. Yet, whenever I'm in a firefight with someone, they take quite a few shots. By the time I'm done, they have at least 4 - 5 blood spurts. It gets really frustrating. I love dying in a firefight after having a good go at it. But I despise getting OHKO'd by someone 800m away who has no intention to loot my body.

Hahaha. That would suck so hard. I'd say it should affect stamina. But decrease hunger and steady your shot. Just my opinion.

Sawed off is easily the worst weapon. It hardly ever kills. What would I have done? Not used the Sawed off for one and two, I would have ran in a group of 3. You should probably get another escort. And since you're the medic, run with an SKS or an M4. Have a different guy use the Mosin. And the "Let's be peaceful" line is always used by Bandits who want a jump on people.
