Man, most of the time people refuse to listen. Even while playing a hero, you still have to hold people up. And 90% of the time people won't listen. I did the same thing. Damn good card for the price. Definitely a step up from my shitty Radeon 6770. And OP, few suggestions. Get at least an i7 Processor. Can't remember which one mine is, but it's held it's own. At least 8 gigs of Ram. More or less a personal preference, though. I run 16 Gig myself. But I wouldn't want less than 8. Like previously stated, GTX 760 is a pretty decent card for the money. Oh and NEVER get anything 'Diablotek'. Fucking PSU killed my old mobo.

Agreed. It takes so long. What makes it twice as long is the bullet proof windows that everyone sits in front of. Berezino would be a lot less safer without those. I don't mean like a huge, loud noise. Simple like the old logging in one. You had to be in the same building to be able to hear it. It forced people to think where they logged in and out at. Ew, haha. I liked it for it's purpose but it didn't feel creative, IMO.

Agreed. It should be the rattling of gear, like when you run, but the sound of fabric rubbing mixed in and a zipper noise to finish it. Like he's packing up. Making it audible and NOT put it in the ambient sound list. It'd be pretty nice.

I run unless I'm running with my clan. Then we'll push. And it's usually because it's easy. Most people Can't defend a building against 3 or 4 people sweeping it. It's usually a better option than letting them be alive and shoot freshspawns. Might as well try and kill them.

Here lately, desync has been fucking me over. I was on a ladder and some guy starts punching the ground at the bottom. It was silly so I keep climbing. Nest thing I know I'm knocked out. For him, I was still on the ground. Been happening a lot lately. So I'd bet it's desync, man. Hackers are usually really obvious. Teleporting and shooting off a bunch of rounds a whole lot and what not.

Do you even DayZ, bro? 2 hour restarts is about the only legitimate action taking place. No KoS servers don't exist. Title means nothing.

Lmao. The sound engine is awful. Getting a better headset won't fix it. @ OP: In short, you don't. Best thing to do if you want to stay alive is stick the trees behind the cities. Sit down and look for people. You might not hear them, but you'll see them. Best thing to do is to avoid big places all together. Unless you're in a squad, might as well stick to the North.

I do that with an Irish Accent. People usually just get mad and punch me though. I usually prefer when people immediately go the "He sounds different. I'll repeat what he says in his accent." As for my own experiences: Other day I was running around on regular. I save my geared character on hardcore for when my clan is online. So I just goof around helping people. So, I was heading into Berezino looking for some people that need some help. Spotted two freshies running to me. Before I could even open my mouth they both put up their dukes. I tell them not to do it. I'm just here to help. They refused to listen. I threw up my own dukes and went at it. KO'd them both and let them get eaten by the Zeds that were chasing me. So fucking satisfying. Love it when other freshspawns want to fist fight for no reason and get angry when they get put on their ass. Or anyone really. Knocking people out is fun as hell.

Don't get me wrong, I don't want it to change. But they should implement a system for the cool down to be 30 or less for people who were kicked off a restarted server or kicked by the admin. Or find a way to have an inmate rape anyone who decides to hack, as soon as they hack.
