You can run to increase your temperature. Wood is found in barns/sheds nearly 100% of the time. Sunlight doesn't help. Staying indoors only stabilizes your temp. Stay out of the rain. I recently joined the NY7 server. It was daytime during night time EST. (understandable, and fair, but the kicker is later) I, and everyone else but FAS clan members were being randomly kicked. I overheard (on voice comms) that they were going to "lock" the server. Just before I was kicked, I heard an admin say "What kind of ammo you want? How much?" Oh, and on top of that, it immediately turned night time. I didn't get any hard evidence, so I am sorry if this is time wasting. I also apologize if this is in the wrong section. EDIT: Oh, the kick also appears to have killed my character, nice. Thanks dicks.

What do you mean your arrowhead folder can't open? 1. Navigate to the following (C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\arma 2 operation arrowhead) 2. OPEN the Operation arrowhead folder (Double click it) 3. create a new folder named "@dayz" without the " " 4. INSIDE that @dayz folder make another folder named "addons" without the " " 5. UNRAR the files that you got from the download site and drag the files (in the rars) inside your addons folder (For each one) 6. Add the following launch parameters to Op arrowhead on steam (right click Op arrowhead, click properties, then click the set launch options button) "-mod=@dayz -nosplash" without the " " 7. Play. PS: You have to have Arma 2 FREE and actually OWN Operation Arrowhead (you HAVE to BUY OP arrowhead)

Here is a quick suggestion: If you are going to be an active dev, as you are, you need to have a definite "Patch Day". Tuesday in the AM CST is usually the best time, as most major devs have noticed and taken advantage of. FACT: Most people who actually RUN the servers visit the forums, and if not, their superiors do. Inform them to build a schedule, bringing up 1 or two of their servers every 15-20 minutes AFTER patch time on patch day. IE: Patch is at 5:45AM cst on any given tuesday Dallas 1-3 come online at 6:00AM cst Dallas 4-6 come online at 6:20AM cst Dallas 7-9 come online at 6:40AM cst Etc etc If you NEED the load on the servers to be lower, this is imperative. Work with the server hosts. Get emails etc. If they have the spirit/knowhow/will to run a server for a game you are developing, work with them. I believe this is a solid idea. I would rather have a more stable/More finished product than a rushed and possibly (more) bug filled release. Patience.
