I travel with a bodyguard when out trading in case anyone has funny ideas :)

So I've been playing a little while and even stocked up a hunting camp and the ability to gather cooked meat quickly and easily even in the face of death/restart. I've been playing the (decently armed) roaving cooked meat vender between chernogorsk and elektrozavodsk. I've never murdered anyone, more inclined to run and let potential customers live if I can possibly help it. But I carry several weapons normally and am not afraid to use them. They are also for trade though. I play on US west servers, if you have a request for me to come to you on a server just post it here and I'll get in touch. I use steam, will give it out in PM if you want to communicate that way.

Okay so it randomly spawned me on the coast near Kamenka and I've been crawling to cherno since. So far i'm a very slow zombie killing machine heading to a hospital to find morphine. (that rhyme?) I'm loaded to the gills with cooked meat, bandages, and an AK74 with a couple mags so if you hook me up with some morphine without just killing me, I'd hook you up with all of the above. I'm logged out near 062 129.

well I'm crawling in search of rescue or death on your server 2176. I can't log on to anything so I'm going to just wait til the update is easier somehow or I figure it out. I keep getting stuck at loading since the 2.5 update it seems.

I'm on a trail in the woods south (i think) of the airstrip by Krasnotav. At this point I'm just hoping for death. If I can get back to my badly hidden tent on another server I have a whole stash of restart supplies put away. but it's been a while since I've been there... what with crawling through the woods.

So I'm stuck in the middle of nowhere in the far north east becaue I thought I was heading east when I was actually heading north. Yea dumb mistake. Anyway I ended up fighting a zombie in the middle of the woods and it broke my legs!!! I'm all out of morphine too, I used it up on my way here... is there an option to kill myself or something? I've been crawling through the woods so long along this road... I've just quit playing for lack of interest. I can only crawl for so many hours. If theres a suicide command or someone wants to come kill me for all the meat and goodies i'm carrying I'd be all for it.

I thought of windows when I took cover in there. he was far enough away I couldn't hear the gunfire, just the landing of the shot around me. I intentionally stood in the hallway next to the front door where the windows didn't have any view on me. I believe he was shooting from the power plant roof in elektro, thats where I heard the first shots from. I then ran to the southwest edge of the town and hid in a brick house while chopping zombies that walked through the front door. I killed several zombies before he shot me inside the house, so I don't think it was lag. From the feedback I think it was an esp hack or list kill. since I didn't hear a final shot, I just died after hiding in the house. But from now on, after I'm getting sniped at from an unreasonable distance, I'm disconnecting once I've hidden.

I just got killed by a sniper who shot me from around 400m away (far enough I couldn't hear the gunshot after I had run about 200m) while I was INSIDE a brick building blocked by 2 house walls. Great to know hackers can shoot you through objects. I know it's only alpha mod test, but whats the point in anything short of immediate disconnect if you're being sniped at from ridiculous odds?

I play USwest servers. If you play in my ping range I'll group with you. I'm new, I've mainly been scavenging for knives, hatchets and matches then hunt in the woods. Always end up with more food than I can use to top off my own health and later get bonked by some lucky zombie or player and die. Some group action would be nice. I'll PM my steam to you.

having a mic is a big help. I stopped getting shot in the face as often after using a mic to call out "nonhostile" and such.

what server locations do you play? I generally stick to the lowest ping servers for my area (which is USWest)

whats that? is there really a DayZ chat site? I'm wary to use something blindly linked. But also *Bump* I'm still playing USWest all hours kinda randomly. But wouldn't mind making some kinda coordination thats unlikely to be betrayed. so far I just run to the closest city after finding an axe and food/drink/bandages for the journey. sadly most of the time I get fatally injured or infected just by dumb accident along the way. So I'm just practicing at not screwing up I guess. Some mechanics still confuse me. I don't know if it's possible to outlive an infection or if that cough means I'm a dead man walking? Also how do you make a group? like if I meet someone and want to use that group chat channel? Answers to any of these or just party coordinating would be appreciated. Not sure how else to find a group on interwebs.

Hello my name is John in game but my tag here is johtus, clearly. I've always enjoyed open world survival games (i.e. fallout on hardcore) and zombie games. This is freaking amazing so far. I'm a generally non-hostile new player, just bought the game 2 days ago... or something.. I lost track of time honestly after the first day. I play with a little too much caution, I spent 3 hours alive my first time through only to be killed by falling out of a barn. I've since been perfecting my skills in evading zombies without using bullets or weapons in general, and making note of how to reach the nearest cities quickly after respawning. Could use some people to team up with for the fun of it or to accomplish some goal I'm unaware of (I'm always seeing fixed up helicoptors). Oh yea, I play USwest servers exclusively I guess, since they have the best ping.

I'm a new player, Looking for group to do better than I have been alone. I just got the game and have been killed a few times by other players now, every single time I encounter another player. I admittedly started one of them when I was talking to the guy below me intent on climbing the ladder to my location. I'd like someone to team up with thats somewhat coordinated beforehand so we should be able to trust eachother to a greater degree. I'm looking to enjoy the game and get farther than I can on my own. But hilarity and self sacrifice aren't uncommon from me.
