    PDW is great because you always have ammo for it. Plus the high mag count. Never had a problem with it.

    Except that Whiskey producers wouldn't change their brand and formula to make it taste more "Coke-y". They're both a different taste and experience and can attract different but at times, overlapping, demographics.

    I have no problem deleting posts that are simply attacks on other posters or troll attempts. The community does not need anymore petty drama from thin-skinned individuals who can't take criticism.

    If you're screwed over from entering buildings or traveling because of broken legs, relog. I don't understand why you would take away the survival aspect of crawling towards help from players who want too.

    Not sure how people are having a problem with the notion of surface area. The world is approximately 15km x 15km. So, at any one given time, you're never more than 15km from a player on the X or Y axis. (Technically 21.21 km after applying the Pythagorean theorem, assuming players are on opposite corners of the map.) So while you are not technically never that far away from a player, you would have to search 225 km2 of landscape if you don't know where they are.

    To be fair, you should've told them what to expect from this mod and its constantly shifting quality. Their lack of previous Arma 2 gameplay familiarity also probably didn't help matters.

  18. Yes. Did so last night. It's pretty rough, so I understand. But you have to understand it will come out when it's ready. Enjoy the hell for now or wait for the hotfix. I don't think less of anybody who does. Closing.

    Would it be cool if you made a post in DayZ General Discussion, telling us what the problems are and possible solutions to them? Saying you ragequit without giving anything tangible doesn't help anyone and invites flaming. EDIT: So you were hacked. Sorry to hear that bro, truly. I can't stand hackers but there going to be here for the time being. Best I can offer is to find a new server or wait it out a bit.

    This doesn't really belong in New Player discussion. But even if it did, I would prefer you guys discuss the mod itself rather than complaining about each other.

    Your thoughts on interior zombies?

    Zombies in houses would be better if houses (and other structures) would dampen sound effects and noises like actually buildings do. This would make it easier to clear out houses without attracting everything in town. Now firing an Enfield wouldn't probably have too much effect but it could make the difference on smaller side arms. Something to consider anyway
