This probably has been posted it already. When are we going to see music? I remember in the mod it was terrifying when I was a new player. Thank you for suggesting something people have already suggested, even after you said you knew this had already been suggested. I do agree with you though, but im sure Dean and the other devs have realised this and are working some way around all these problems ( combat loggers, hoppers, people staying south etc ) I actually think as the game releases more features people will be encouraged to go north ( get a certain type of gun for example.. ), that's what happened in the mod, once guns like the AS50 etc started spawning north on heli crashes and NWAF barracks, people started hanging out up there. edit: just realized how much of a dick i sounded at the start, i apologize!

Something similar happened to me in the mod.. I felt awful and couldn't play for a while (mine was actually worse, we teamed up for a while but I ended up killing him for a bike), but I can't take risks, this game toys with your emotions so much and it's annoying but great at the same time. You never know mate, if you hadn't shot him he could of turned around and put a bullet or two in you instead.
