I actually have been looking at the active users on the Forum over the last few weeks, it never really gets below 1k in the day time, 600-900 in the morning. -

Well there is alot more US servers than UK servers ( I think ), so the European people tend to stay in there own servers, which get crowded and draws the hackers in. I live in the UK but play on a US server, have never been bothered by hackers.

I'm not sure about private hives, but I have a chopper on a normal game server connected to DayZ hive, so idk. -

Yeah, I just found a laser marker and a Silenced Markov, I took them both. I heard that hacked weapons disappear in the latest update, is this true?

True, but the Laser Marker has thermal on it, so I don't need to carry a thermal gun anymore ;3

The skin worked the first time but then when I tried re-joining it said face.jpg is a custom file and too big ;l

Rocket actually said something about this in an interview with IGN, for example if you wanted to fix a car, you would have to find someone who is experienced in mechanics ( perhaps they could get experienced by reading the books, idk? )

Just make sure you save the tent, when the server restarts it won't erase the items. Of course there are some bugs that make stuff disappear sometimes, but just make sure you save things. -

You can hold the SVD without removing your backpack. And as far as I know, the only gun in the game that removes your bag is the Rocket Launcher. Some hacked in guns cause the backpack to disappear, that may be it. -
