Rocket fucking discouraged people to buy it! CAN YOU NOT READ? In various other interviews and gameplay videos he also said he didn't want people getting hyped up for it, because they would be disapointed! Why didn't they make a new map? It would of probably taken about another year, probably more, plus must of the Day Z community loves Chernarus, hits in with the whole Zombie infestation really well. Finally if you're so fucking great at scripting and running a community, why don't you fuck off and make your own game. Now look what you've done, made me roudy right before work. -

So I've not played Day Z in months. Is Day Z still fun? I come on the Forum's every day but never really post, just browse through and read everything, I truly still love the game but I'm not sure if it's still fun, and with the standalone so close.. Is it worth downloading it and starting to play again? (sorry if this is in the wrong section)

I'm not a fan of any of the mods out, I've tried them all and really dislike them! You can choose your spawn point now in Vanilla, can't you? Not a fan of that at all I must say. I think it's something to do with me having a shit PC, but last time I played it I really disliked it, probably because of the massive FPS drops I was getting, but I really didn't enjoy it like I used to. It's like I don't get the same thrill I used to get, maybe because I haven't put myself in PVP positions like I used to.. I don't know. I'm think im just waiting for the standalone so I can experience feelings like I used to Does anyone else think the feeling is gone?

I think it does aswell, but not totally. I mean I usually feel bad after killing someone, sometimes I even stop playing all together for a day or two, but if I killed someone in real life I think I would feel much worse than I would if I killed in Day Z. -

I remember the bug where you'd fall off a ladder if you had your primary weapon out! I actually didn't know about the bug intill I started being active on the Forum's and so I totally ignored ladders because I didn't want to die! :D

Sacriel's old videos are good, but mainly are just clips of his squad PVPing in firefights. They're really cool. Recently his content has kinda gone down hill in my opinion though, he just takes snipits out of his live stream.
