Chaotic Brotherhood Introduction Hello, and welcome to the first step in becoming a part of the Brotherhood. First let me introduce myself as the owner of this server, my name is Priest. I have experience in leading communities, guilds, clans, groups, teams, hosting servers, and gaming. I have been a gamer for about 13 years, and I have been a leader for 8. I have always loved the game DayZ and I have played it since its release. And now that Standalone is out I think it is safe to say that I will be playing this game for a very long time. I am interested in creating a flourishing, self-sustaining DayZ Standalone server and community that only takes steps forward, never backwards. I am extremely open to new ideas, and dynamic strategies to keep people interested in our server as well as improving the server entirely. Right now I am only able to host a Public Hive which is currently connected to the main hive of DayZ Standalone. Even though the server is not much different, one thing that makes us stand from the rest is our name and our purpose. Let me explain the description of our server in the list below. The Chaotic Brotherhood Description Our server is one that consists of: Bandits, Heroes, Bloodthirsty Cutthroats, Care-bears, Tactical Geniuses, and Psychopaths. We encourage forming clans, mass murder, trying to help everyone in sight, and especially having fun and enjoying the game. This server will aim to create an environment in which you the player can feel appreciated while also enjoying the game with your friends and the rest of the player-base. If you want a server in which the admins are friendly, active, and are dedicated to making sure your experience is a pleasant one, join ours. If you want a server where you are not being rapidly accused of hacking by an admin after killing someone legibly from 1000 m away with a sniper rifle, join our server. If you want a server that contains stability, experience, love, and much more than can be discussed in this one forum post.. Then what are you waiting for? Join us. Our Experience Our experience with hosting DayZ servers is classified as a great amount. We have hosted a handful of servers, played on countless more, as nothing less than a family and unit. We have experience with the ups and downs that a server can go through, mainly the downs. We understand that when it comes to server hosting, its the little things that really matter. Such as making sure that all the players needs are met if not addressed, destroy and chance of a hacker damaging someone's game-play experience.. Listening to both sides of a story in a conflict, and then reacting in a fair manner, making sure that the staff is well content with their job and the current flow of the server. We have been victims of countless hackers, DDOS attacks, bugs, crashes, glitches, and more.. We've seen it all and done it all, and now we're going to use all that we've learned, all of the wonderful people we've gathered, and all the hype we've created in our family for standalone and dedicate it to two things.. This server, and each other. Our Rules Our rules are going to be fairly simple and easy to follow. The list of rules is written below: Do not hack, excessively glitch, or abuse bugs Do not abuse your power as an admin or high ranking member of the staff These are our rules, very simple, very easy to follow. We could make rules that you shouldn't disrespect people, shouldn't complain about simple things that happen to you, should only talk in the English language, or some other ridiculous rule we could come up with.. But to be honest with you, the more rules a server has, the more chances it has to take away from a servers player-base, and kill a server. Therefore we will only require these two rules, these rules are the only thing you need to follow. Other than that, everything is permitted. We will not lecture you on the meaning of a Zombie Apocalypse game if you get killed in a legit manner, we will offer assistance but will not hold your hand if you cannot figure out how to play this Zombie Apocalypse game. We will answer your questions, we will work to make your game-play a pleasant one. We will not require you to join a website, white-list, or even our voice communication. We cater to you, you will be a guest in our home and everything will be about you for the duration of your stay.
