Hey, this has been effecting me for a looong time, but I've always assumed that it was normal. Whenever I join a high pop server, I get lag. My FPS drops to about 20 or so. (estimation) When I join a empty server, my FPS is about 60ish. Anyway to fix this? Or should I stick to low pop servers? All the Dayz videos I watch on youtube have people on 50+ people servers, with fraps running and almost no law. :<

I suppose I could make a bullshit argument about how the M40a3 is better than the M24 or DMR because it has camo.... LOLOLOL

Okay, so I managed to get 5000 humanity and became a hero. I log off, go get some food, relog and I'm at 4750 humanity. Why? Any fixes?

Okay. So right south of northern barracks is a building that looks like a ATC tower, just with no glass or roof. I've seen youtube videos of people getting on there... how do they do it? D:

So, I'm deep in the red. (-250k humanity). I've heard that humanity increases by like 200 every 20 min or something until you reach 2500. Is this true?

How do I know a hacker did it? All the boats were there. So, I go over and nab a ATV, and I drive away and save it. Server restarts, ATV is gone. Help?

Hi, does anyone know how much the ATV can take in collisions? Like if I hit a fence or rock at full speed, will I explode? I really don't want to test it firsthand. >_>

Yeah, the ATV is all at green. But when I drive at night, I sometimes barely miss those fences that are randomly in the field. I was wondering if I hit one of them... would my ATV explode? :<

Okay, first off, I can join many servers just fine. Fast loading, etc. One server (DE 2455) I can't seem to join. When I get past the lobby, I get a message saying "No entry, "bin\config.bin/Cfgweapons/m8_carbineGL.XM320Muzzle".". I've tried to reverify the local game cache, reinstalled 1.7.2.6, as well as reinstalled the latest arma II patch. "96751". This is the only server were this happens. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Well, I get stuck on the loading screen whenever I try to join. Is there a fix or should I avoid this server entirely?

Minus the ammo boxes, a beached aircraft carrier on the coast of chernarus with tight corridors, huge numbers of zombies, and awesome loot.... would be awesome.

Any way to check if a server has side enabled? I mean servers that are connected to the hive. Don't say its impossible, because I played on one that had it enabled... :P

Yep, through server browser. you know how Dayz commander can filter stuff like diffrent versions etc? Anyway it could filter side chat servers? Or do I have to randomly go in and hope its enabled?

Hello. I've been trying to hit moving targets in Dayz for a while now... (about 500m+) But never had any luck. It may just be me, but the bullets seem to travel so slow. I come from CoD, so I'm really unused to bullet velocity etc. Is there any tips for leading? Or any way to practice? Thanks for the help.

Uuugh. Its so tempting to take a shot at them though. :< Every time I open up, the bullet seems to take 5 seconds to arrive... then they panick and DC. :<

Fun fact: pressing N while scoped in on a TWS toggles the thermals. :P

I highly suggest using the M4. My only reason for this is for killing players. With the MP5, you'll need to empty a ridiculous amount of bullets into the person before killing him. Chances are, he'll shoot you too, and you'll both die. With the M4, you have a chance of killing him before he raises his gun and mows you down. In the end, its personal preference. I just like the M4. :P

Okay. So I discovered some tents up north. Based on what I found in tents near them (As50's, NVGs, rare duped stuff), they prob have good stuff in them. The problem is I can't seem to loot them. They are placed directly under pine trees. Is there a special way to get to them?
