I found about 3 in my travels. Just started to use one now that I decided to try out the mosin. I think the LRS is definitely a must in this game right now.

No, I had quite a few kills at around 1600m with the as50 in the mod. I was able to catch a small dot running in the distance, scope in and find out it was a player. Good times. In SA the player models disappear at 200-250m but you can still see some of their gear as they walk. That goes away around 300-400m The viewdistance is bad in SA. Something I hope they fix soon. Or maybe its another crutch for newbs.

Your character is stored in "my documents/dayz" If you went from a desktop to a laptop, your character will change. Your old character will still be on your PC

Just get the PC version of my laptop specs or higher. This game as it ls right now runs good on my laptop and once the game goes on, it should only get better I would stick with Windows 7 if you have that already, Im not a big fan of Windows 8.

I was watching some youtube videos and started to notice that everyone pretty much had an abundance of 3 things. Rice, canteens, and ammo. I know its good to pack these but it just screams "duping" I remember duping was easy to do in the mod and when I stopped playing, it was still there. Did this form of duping carry over to the SA?

Svetlojarsk - 50/50 chance you will get an SKS or Mosin. If you fancy the M4 then just take a short walk to the ship or NE airfield. In about an hour of being a new spawn you should be geared up pretty good if you head up there

this happened to me with a shotgun, except it was firing high not low. I equipped it and loaded it. I fired at zombie and it missed them by 5ft high. I logged off then logged back on later. it was fixed. Im guessing it was a collision bug because I equipped it in a building and it must have "collided" with the ceiling

Back when I played the mod, it was one per bike It was one of the fastest modes of transportation tho. I got that bike up to 90km/h maybe even more. I cant wait for it in SA

AKM should have been in the game before the M4

Morality system made the game worse in the mod. Its pretty much what the nazis did with the jews in the 30's and 40s. Made them wear something that distinguished them from others. So if you get a bandit skin, you were labelled and pretty much forced to shoot people because they would automatically think you were a bandit. I think it would make this KoS situation worse.

I dont know why but I just love running for km's and finding gear. That has always been my favorite part of this game.

I think ammo should be rare. Guns last longer than ammunition That way you can bluff your way with a gun, or you can call someones bluff. Can make for some interesting gameplay
