Hey, DayZ commander says my ping on US servers is 110-120 (I'm from central Europe). The reason I want to play on those is because I have some friends in USA and I want to team up with them. I know that 120 ping is problematic in for example Call of Duty, but how about DayZ? I'd check myself but I'm afraid that I wouldn't notice it until a fight where all my bullets would mysteriously miss my target because of the ping... So any of you guys is playing on US servers from Europe or vice versa? How big the ping issue is?

I also have my weird and true story about GM. I was in my camp about 3 km from it with my friend. I went to lobby for a while and when I got back, guess where I was. Near the forest on the Green Mountain. And it was a dark night. Damn that was creepy, while I was going back to my camp I was turning back every few seconds and watching the place with rangefinder but there was nothing else strange about it. Still, considering all those creepy stories in this thread it was pretty scary experience. I never believe this shit but once I almost had a hearth attack in Minecraft because of the Herobrine stuff and some creepy audio bug (I guess it was bug...), no kidding.

I agree completly on this. I think a good idea would be to implement some kind of fatigue/stamina system so it would be impossible to sprint for long periods any more. This would make players more cautious because if they aggro they'd have to kill all the zeds, no more running a marathon to lose them. Like I said I also agree with other suggestions in this thread so running into a building and exiting through the other exit shouldn't work either. You can still escape zeds using alt-f4 but I have an obvious solution - make zombies apply shock when they hit a player ! This would drastically reduce alt-f4 usage against zombies. Hmm what else. More zombies is probably impossible to do because servers can't handle their current numbers. Improving their AI so they can run inside of buildings and be harder to lose is far easier to implement I think. I have another idea, nerf canned foods! Can with baked beans contains no more than 300 calories yet it can save your character from starving to death. How about making them restore only 20 % of player's food bar and meat for example 80 % ? Also AI of animals is extremaly retarted and bugged, they usually just stand still while I shoot them they should run for their life, killing an animal should be challenging. There is way more to improve obviously.

Gz to all idiots who are saying that this nerf is a good thing. No it's not unless you are pussies who only play at empty servers and alt-f4 if they spot another player. Why it's so bad? Because: - it breaks immersion in real life you can't just take 10 shots from a pistol and keep sprinting in this game yes (makarov is the worst it has 7 round mag and it needs 14 hits = 2 mags useless against players) - in pvp you can't land 14 shots without getting shot as well or having your enemy alt-f4 = garbage weapon (yes I'm aware revolwer does a little bit more dmg but it has only 6 rounds so it's garbage too) Shotgun are also nerfed which is ridiculous made the double-barelled 100 % useless it needs 3 or 4 shots to kill a player now but it can fire only 2 rounds before reloading, so it's a total crap I agree with Lee Enfield nerf though, it's very easy to acquire therefore it shouldn't be a very good weapon like it was. Imho they should reverse this, but of course they doesn't seem to care about this, and yes I know it's Arma 2 patch but it affected DayZ therefore devs should react and reverse it or fix it some other way because now you can drop sidearms for extra space.

This is not a regular alpha relase. Because it's public and has a huge player base. So I dont give a fuck in my opinion it should work better. Wrong for me it was the other way around, I bought this phone because it came with a free Rolls Royce ! (a broken one though)

You're wrong. Alpha games are not played by 1000000 + people like this title is. That means it has to be compared with full blown games at least that's my opinion. Because of the huuuuge player base and the fact that alpha version are ALMOST NEVER relased to the public so much like DayZ is therefore you can't find any alpha games to compare. Also WarZ is not a fucking full-blown game yet. And it is competition, just read about it it's an obvious clone of DayZ. Not sure if it will be worse or better than DayZ, but I guess the latter.

So what if it's alpha I don't care about ARMA 2 Lol when I was buying it I only wanted to play DayZ. And it turned to be awesome but all those bugs are just dissapointing. Sure it's alpha but you'd think that if >1 000 000 people play a game then this game hasn't got such terrible bugs. Three main threats in DayZ: 1. Players 2. SERVER BUGS ??? 3. Zombies (not rly a threat if u know how stupid they r ;/)

I WAS RLY TRYING TO PLAY LEGIT AND IMMERSIVE NOT USE ANY DUPES OR GLITCHES BUT THIS GAME IS FUCKING UNPLAYABLE. I WAS GATHERING STUFF FOR A RATHER LONG TIME I HAD MY CAMP SET UP AND GUESS WHAT HAPPENED I LOGGED IN ON A SERVER AND DIED WITH NO REASON NOBODY SHOT ME I JUST APPEARED AND SEC LATER I WAS DEAD AND ON DEBUG PLAINS WITH NO ITEMS. GO PLAY WARZ LIKE I'M GONNA DO. WASTE OF TIME SHAME BECAUSE I RLY LIKED THAT GAME BEFORE I DISCOVERED THE TERRIBLE LEGION OF BUGS. Sorry for being mad. Also tent ate my stuff yesterday. I'm just so mad with these bugs and it seems Rocket does nothing with them. Of course I'm gonna still play DayZ Lol
