So true. Play carefully on night servers as if others had it. But there are plenty who light up towns with flares, drive with lights on to loot. It's how I took out 2 cars, 1 bus, and a truck trying to steal a Ural I was over watching. It's actually just better to play at night regardless of NVGs or not. Just adapt to it's play style and it evens out the Risk/Reward scale.

Not mindless at all. To kill another, one must out do them in some way. Whether it's taking advantage of them through means of exp. and firepower. Or trailing you back to your camp, planting satchel charges, then waiting for your return.
