Go find more gear/vehicles. That is all this game is about. Gear is always attainable, it just matters how badly you want to go get it.

Also, how does one check FPS in Arma? I have only played DayZ thus far and am still learning. Thank you.

Sorry that happened to you, but that is what happens when you get hit by a M107 or AS50. How do I know this? I have earned them legitmately and have them in camp. My advice to you especially when you have a rare 1 spawn per server vehicle is: Never ever go near the coast with it. The coast is the most dangerous place to lose anything of value. Hackers/jackers ie nothing to loosers. If you need food do it elsewhere. If you really need to burn south only go at night with no lights on to pick up buddies etc. Some people survive, and others keep learning, and some other burning. Good luck.

F hacked gear. Spend some time, get some friends, learn to survive, find a good camp spot. Earn/Find stuff. Kill people.... Hacker battles are interesting, but not really the point of this game. Glad you had some excitement though.

Sorry that happened to you. Something like that happened to me last night too and I lost a good run with gear + motorcycle. In DayZ you can never get to used to owning something b/c it could be gone in seconds. I almost stole a deuce and 1/2 some dummy was driving right down the middle and getting out checking the hangers + barracks at the NW airfield at the end of the run last night. I did find another fixable car that needs three more wheels, so that should get fixed today and be in camp this afternoon.

I did the same thing. Have fun with that stuff as long as you have it. For me it all dissappeared a day later.

NW airfrield - firehouse. First time up there and being very careful. Never seen any of the spawns up there, but am very excited. Head into the East side and slowly creep and crawl through the hangers. Find some marginal stuff. Work my way around into the firehouse back door. Hit first loot spot ahead, then hit the one in the corner, then into the stairwell. Spin around and look back where I came from and there is a guy at the first loot spot checking loot where I started. I see he is heavily geared with camo clothing and I do no hesitate. Bap bap bap bap bap. He turns and runs for the door, but doesn't make it. Down he goes. I run up stairs and kill the remaining zombies that follow with my loud gunfire.....hands shakin....wondering if I did the right thing? He surely would of done that to me if he saw me first.....venting to friends on vent..... The DayZ hooks are definitely in me now....

Nice read totally enjoyed. Another tip is if you switch stuff in the forest and you lose things it ends up on the ground terrible hard to see. Mouse around a bit and at times you can find it. I've lost quite a few nice guns with full bags over the weeks to switchouts. Gear is gear the nice thing is there is always more to get =) Just not the duped crap from peoples sucker tents... Next time your up in Berezino and we cross paths I'll buy ya a coke!

Original Thread - We found two heli-crash sites close together last night in the same area you did right as I found an operable bus in Novy. Thought it was weird also. Loot was FN FAL AN/PVS-4 and an M24. The camp gets bigger...

Been around the block in this game. Raiding the airfield by myself. Rocket through finding some good stuff. Get a little smacked around zombies after the third our forth clear finding a helo crash site at the end of the airstrip. Travel south. Kill two animals. Make fire. Cook meat. Eat said meat. 12000 blood again, except this time I have the shakes in any of my scopes. Anyone else experience this? Bug? I've tried logging out. I've tried switching servers. I've tried rebooting. I've tried getting low blood again and reupping to full only to be a shaky motherfucker. Only other thing I can think of is dieing near respawn and getting my shit back. Thank you for info that you may be informing me of. JMP - the lone gunman looking for friends to play with.....

My favorite part is not only did you snipe Strupol, he dies again in the video a little time later.

So, I make it up to the NW airfield and hit up the west barracks. I have an axe and no weapons, so I start searching through the rooms. I find some random this and thats, but nothing to not of. I grab an AKM with 3 mags and an M9 in a few rooms. Last room I look in and find a Ghullie suit. Hurray must be my lucky day! Until I figure out that female avatars can't wear one! I sneak back out and head into the woods and voice to my buddy that I have a ghullie suit for him. Then I look at my gear and somehow my AKM is now a AS50 with 5 mags. Somehow I suddenly have NVG's, GPS, Rangefinder in my inventory too. I am like wtf? All my food was gone also. Anyone have any weirdness happen? I also found a coyote backpack with an L85A2 in the middle of the woods one day. It dissappeared in my inventory a few days later. I'm guessing it was duped or hacked in or whatever. Most of the time when I log in and out my ammo is refreshed. That gun wouldn't refresh at all. It also ate ammo when I logged out. I loved the thermal and NV scope on it. Oh well.

Sorry for this thread tbqh. If I had my usual vent/mumble/ts friends who seem uninterested in this game I wouldn't have had to make this post.

I love it. Log back in at N end of strip. Run in warehouse I never frequent. PK's on the floor. Shaky Shaky no longer. Thanks again amigos!
